Target, The Beach House is a Luxury new beachside cottage in Pointe West Resort. Stunning views of the Gulf and Bay. The property is a very short walk to the protected beach where you and your children can play on a private beach. There are chairs, & beach toys. Downstairs is a picnic table that looks out on the lagoon. Balconies off the bedrooms and kitchen make the perfect place to enjoy the sunset & a glass of wine. For those who cannot leave their work behind this home is equipped with high-speed wireless internet service.

PETS (No cats allowed) Dogs are permitted in rental units only with prior approval. $125 per visit fee applies. All pets must be leashed at all times. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with flea and tick.

Weekend getaway
The house smelt musty. The dishes were dirty and so was the furniture in the living room. Had crumbs under pillows and under the pull out couch. The location was good and liked that each room had their own bathroom. Also, was never able to open the garage key box.

Good communication with owner. Nice set ups with tea and coffee. There was no water to the house when we arrived. The grill was filthy and had a bird nest in it--unusable. Had to wash the comforters when we arrived b/c they were dank smelling. Seemed like the place hadn't been attended to in awhile.

Very relaxing
Our stay of 4 adults and 6 kids was super relaxing. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The host surprised us with a bottle of wine. There was sufficient coffee and tea already stocked which we truly appreciated! It’s a short walk to the beach and the view from the porch was very relaxing. I would recommend this property.

Vacation
We had a great time! Plenty of room for our whole family(8) and so much to do around the area. I wish the weather had been more cooperative, but that’s something that just can’t be helped.

Best Place Ever!!!
The place was amazing! It was the perfect place to spend our 1st Annual Family Vacation! The beach was practically at our doorstep and the kids had a fantastic time there. The Beach Club, with it's pool was wonderful during the day or after a day of sightseeing. We will definitely use this facility again! The owners were very helpful before and even during the trip! Highly recommend!!

About the neighbourhood
Galveston is an island city on the Gulf Coast of Texas. It’s known for Moody Gardens, where giant glass pyramids house sharks, monkeys and other animals. Amusement rides and restaurants line Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier on the south shore. West is bird-rich Galveston Island State Park, with its trails, kayak launches and fishing spots. Stewart Beach and East Beach are on the island’s eastern end.
Galveston offers 32 miles of relaxing beaches, superb restaurants,marvelous downtown shopping, numerous antique stores, incredible art galleries, fabulous entertainment and one of the largest and well-preserved concentrations of Victorian architecture in the country.
Getting around
Moody Gardens is one of the cool things to do in Galveston Texas. They have several attractions to visit, like a rainforest inside a huge glass pyramid, aquarium, a science exhibition (discovery pyramid), a collection of lagoons and waterfalls (Palm Beach), and an IMAX theater.
The Strand in Galveston is an interesting shopping and dining area that has a unique charm to it. There is a wide variety of stores and restaurants to choose from in The Strand. There are also the horse and carriage rides!
The Lone Star Flight Museum is home to one of the finest collections of restored aircraft and aviation exhibits in the nation.
The Galveston Duck Tour is a unique way to see Galveston Island, taking you along Seawall Boulevard, across Offats
