In 1883, Heinrich and Fredricka Hasse greeted visitors to their home with a single German phrase: 'Wilkommen zu mein haus.' The descendants of their great-granddaughter and original Hasse House proprietor, Laverne Lee, issue the same greeting to guests today, over a century and a quarter later.

Clean.Charming.Comfortable and cozy. Took my 89 year old Mother, and 14 year old daughter there for star gazing and a meteor shower. It was splendid. Living room furniture is brand new, stylish and comfortable with good lamps to read by. Bedrooms could use better reading...More
