Welcome to my two bedroom apartment which was refurbished throughout in 2016. It has an open plan kitchen with fridge freezer, four ring hob, oven, microwave, kettle, cafetiere coffee maker and toaster. The bathroom has a shower over a bath making it suitable for both families and couples. Large double-glazed sliding doors in the living room and master bedroom let in plenty of natural light from both balconies. The living room is spacious and modern, fully equipped with Smart TV including some UK channels, DVD player, WiFi and air conditioning which can provide cool or warm temperature as required*. I can offer advice on travel to the apartment, the local area and places to visit. I am based in the UK, but am available to contact by email at any time in English or Spanish. My property manager is local and speaks fluent English. Once the balance is paid for your trip you will be sent full details for your arrival including her telephone number. She will meet you at the apartments and hand over the keys and is available to contact throughout your stay. Please note that the latest check-in at the apartment is 10pm. I cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred by guests who have booked a flight too late for them to arrive at the apartment by 10pm.

About the neighbourhood
The Marina offers the Sea Life Aquarium, Pirate Ship rides through the port and along the coast and much more. Less than 2 km away is the Parque de la Paloma - a beautiful park with rabbits, peacocks and other animals roaming freely. It also has a great adventure playground for children and pedal boats on the lake. Near to the park is also the Selwo Dolphinarium. Other nearby attractions include the Marina Cable Car ride to the mountainous top of Benalmadena, Tivoli World Amusement Park and Aqualand Water Park in neighbouring Torremolinos.

For eating out, try some traditional tapas in one of the local bars or fresh fish and seafood at one of the fabulous “chiringuitos” (beach bars) along the seaside walks like Malapesquera.
Getting around
Mar del Sur is located on Avenida Antonio Machado only 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport. This is the main road through Benalmádena and there is a Lidl supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away as well as plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. There is also a late supermarket Komo Komo nearby. A short walk away are a bus stop and taxi rank with buses heading from the main road to Benalmádena Pueblo (village) as well as Parque de la Paloma and further down the coast. El Pinillo is the nearest station about 1.2 km away which has trains direct to Malaga airport and Malaga city centre.

A taxi from Málaga airport (AGP) to the apartment is approximately €25 and takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic.

The nearest station to Mar del Sur is El Pinillo and it's about 15 minutes walk down to the apartment from the station. There is a direct train from the airport or from Maria Zambrano Station in Málaga.
