Home of the Loan Star Flag, Montgomery was the first County seat of Montgomery County. Established as a trading area in 1837, the area is full of Texas history, wineries and close to the Sam Houston National Forest. We are about 5 minutes from the Lake Conroe Recreation area, 21 mile long man made lake known for great fishing, boating, sailing and recreation. Boats are available to rent nearby.
