Our home is designed for comfort and convenience and yet is one of the lowest priced 2 bedroom units on the South Padre Island Beach. It has granite counter-tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, washer-dryer in the unit, filtered water and ice in the refrigerator door, two recliners in front of the flat-screen TV in the living area, a recliner in the master bedroom for a private “get-away” to watch TV or read, TVs in each bedroom and ceiling fans in all rooms. We live here part of each year and know when something needs to be added or replaced.

Interaction with guests
We are at the Island from November 1st through May 1st. During this time we are happy to meet guests to assist them to get into the condo and answer any questions they may have. However, we do send all guests detailed instructions to get to the condominium complex and a door code for the front door of our condominium so guests may decide if they like assistance or prefer none. If the guest is staying during the time we are on the island, we fish in the surf in front of the condo most days. We have equipment and bait and welcome our guests to join us. Interested guests should give us a call or email and we can arrange to meet at the condo or on the beach. If the guest is staying when we are not at the island, we are available by phone

About the neighbourhood
Sunchase IV is centrally located on the Island. There are several of our favorite restaurants within walking distance. The beach is outside the east gate to the complex so it is easy to go to the beach. We have beach chairs and beach toys in the condo so you can enjoy many hours on the beach. If you are looking for more space, checkout our other condo in the same complex - Trip Advisor numbers 6417914 or 9407635.
Getting around
There is free bus service that goes up and down the island and over the causeway to Port Isabel. The bus will stop if flagged down at any time but there is a stop in front the the condominium on Padre Blvd. In addition there are shuttles from the two airports serving the area.
Car not needed
How to get there
Airport: Brownsville TX or Harlingen TX (35 miles): 40.0 km
If you come by car we recommend that you stop at the HEB Grocery at the junction of highways 100 and 48 in Port Isabel. Pick-up the groceries that you may use during your stay. It is a fully stocked grocery and then you may not need to spend any more time getting supplies! Then follow highway 100, which becomes Padre Blvd., onto the island. We send detailed instructions for accessing the gated condominium about a week ahead of your stay. Call us if you have any questions.
