Charlottesville, Virginia
Stay in an authentic Civil War Cabin just 45 minutes outside of Charlottesville, VA. This cabin, which we call Logwood, was originally built before the Civil War by Confederate Soldier William Tolley for his bride. Our soldier lost his life in the Battle of Chancellorsville, leaving behind this unique piece of history. Many of the logs are original. Wood floors, exposed logs, low overhead beams that you have to duck, and a cast iron clawfoot tub with no shower make this a fairly rustic cabin, yet it has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay.

The full kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, silverware, pots & pans, and cooking utensils. The loft bedroom contains two full-size beds. The bathroom has the above mentioned tub, as well as the other essential fixtures. :-)
