La Petite Pâquerette is a recently re-furbished and tastefully renovated country style cottage, with exposed original beams throughout and lots of charm. The cottage was formerly an extension of an amazing timber structure barn, which still stands today, and was used for storage, as part of a small working farm. Approximately 25 years ago the farm was saved from dilapidation and later still, in 2006, our French holiday cottages (Le Petit Hameau) were created. The cottage sleeps two people and has the benefit of an open plan ground floor living space with a double bedroom on the first floor. This cottage has electric heating throughout but also benefits from a lovely wood burner for those chilly evenings and winter nights. From the kitchen area there is very convenient direct access through double French doors to your own patio and the shared garden area, which overlooks the French countryside and where you will find a table and chairs for alfresco dining, reading a book, or simply passing the time of day. About the neighbourhood
Situated in a quiet village in the 7 Vallees, between the French towns of Auxi-le-Chateau and Frevent, La Maison Longue is the perfect place to stay for a holiday in Pas de Calais. With the market towns of Hesdin, St Pol and Doullens only 20 minutes away and Arras, Abbeville and Amiens all within an hour’s drive, as are Montreuil, St Valery-sur-Somme, Le Crotoy and Le Touquet, our location means you can comfortably enjoy many of the tourist attractions and activities of the region and also the Somme. The cottage is one of three at Le Petit Hameau, very well positioned for vising the many attractions of Pas de Calais and Picardy, and also close enough to visit romantic Paris, Palace of Versailles, Disneyland Paris and architectural Lille
