Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand
Da dies die erste Bewertung der Ferienwohnung ist werde ich das Ganze etwas ausführlicher gestalten:
Positiv:
Die Unterkunft sieht aus wie beschrieben in der Anzeige und ist sehr geräumig.
Die Wohnung liegt tatsächlich nur 50m vom Strand entfernt und vom Balkon aus hat man Meerblick. Die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber und alles war für uns vorbereitet und auch bei höheren Außentemperaturen blieb es in der Wohnung angenehm kühl.
Fabio ist ein angenehmer Gastgeber und schnell und einfach erreichbar.
Negativ:
Leider war uns bei unserer Buchung nicht bewusst, dass mit dem Meerblick auch die Promenade direkt vor der Tür liegen wird. Das wird in der Anzeige leider nicht ganz deutlich und zum Teil ist es natürlich auch unsere Schuld, weil wir uns nicht genauer informiert hatten. Leider wurde in einer der Bars vor der Tür jeden Abend bis 24:00 Uhr Musik so laut gespielt, dass an Schlaf nicht zu denken war.
Die Küche war zwar verhältnismäßig gut ausgestattet (es gab z.Bsp. eine Mikrowelle), allerdings waren z.Bsp. die zur Verfügung gestellten Messer allesamt sehr stumpf.
Während bei unserer Ankunft alles ordentlich und sauber war, war es etwas schwierig auch während unserem Aufenthalt sauber zu machen. Aufgrund der Nähe zum Strand bringt man zwangsläufig irgendwann soviel Sand in die Wohnung, dass man gerne einmal fegen würde. In der Wohnung findet sich aber nur ein sehr alter Staubsauger (der zwar funktioniert, aber bei Benutzung droht in seine Einzelteile zu zerfallen) und ein Handfeger.
Als weiterer negativer Punkt ist uns aufgefallen, dass offensichtlich das WLAN eines Lokals vor der Tür genutzt wird (das WLAN heißt genauso wie das Lokal und das Passwort stimmt mit dessen überein). Das der Gastgeber so versucht Kosten zu sparen ist in Ordnung, allerdings hat man kaum bis kein WLAN im Schlafzimmer und wenn das Lokal stark frequentiert ist muss man damit rechnen, dass alles, was etwas mehr Daten verbraucht (wie Netflix oder Youtube) nicht oder nur sehr langsam lädt.
Des Weiteren ist die Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung selbst etwas missverständlich. Während in der Anzeige hier auf TripAdvisor "Handtücher und Bettwäsche inklusive" genannt werden, wollte der Gastgeber auf Nachfrage, ob wir Handtücher für den Strand selbst mitbringen sollen, zunächst geantwortet, dass der Service für Handtücher und Bettwäsche im Allgemeinen 40€ kostet. Man konnte sich aber dahingehend einigen, dass uns diese Kosten erlassen werden, da das hier in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird und wir das Objekt u.a. ausgewählt hatten, weil Handtücher und Bettwäsche inklusive waren.
Außerdem mussten wir 40€ für eine Putzfrau hinterlassen, die die Endreinigung übernehmen sollte. Wir haben auch auf Nachfrage hin keine Quittung für die 40€ erhalten und wie bei Handtüchern und Bettwäsche wird in der Beschreibung nicht auf die Kosten hingewiesen.
Zusammenfassend:
Die Wohnung ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und Fabio ist ein netter Gastgeber. Man darf sich aber nicht zu viel erwarten und sollte sich bewusst sein, dass eventuell Zusatzkosten auf einen zukommen, die nicht in der Beschreibung enthalten sind.

Comfortable apartment close to the beach
This apartment is in a very good location right on the seaside promenade. It is literally above a range of restaurants and cafes with many more 5 minutes walk away in either direction with something to suit all tastes. If you prefer to cater for yourself there is a fully equipped kitchen with a wide assortment of cups, plates glasses and pots and pans to allow this. For a one bedroom apartment it is pleasantly spacious and is located on the first floor so not too many stairs to negotiate. This does mean you are quite close to all the activities below which in high season might be a bit intrusive but at this time of year was fine. Fabio was a joy to deal with and arranged for airport transfers and was there to greet me on arrival. He took time to explain the facilities of the apartment fully and arranged for his mother to visit when I left early in the morning the next week. The only fault I could find was that the wifi through either the restaurant below or the public service was a little weak but was adequate for emails etc. but probably not for streaming or anything so demanding but then you are on holiday so take a break from it all. I am certainly thinking of coming back next year.

Location location location
This apartment is yards from an amazing beach and in the heart of bars and restaurants of Quarteria. Basic but well equipped. Loads of space but we spent all our time on beach or balcony. Bedroom is at back so noise at night was minimal. On downside was sofa could have been more comfortable!

apartment by the sea, perfect view from balcony, needs updating lovely new bathroom,host was very nice easy check on process.
Returned yesterday and the host contacted me to say TripAdvisor hadn't paid him yet? Tried to contact them unsuccessful attempts! Prefer to book through Airbnb as holiday lettings are not good! I was supposed to pay £432 for 1 week and got charged £488 euros because the owner requested this so on that case is should be advertised in euro wasn't happy about that and then to hear he hasn't had a payment has put me off as came out my account day I booked,

Beach front apartment quarteira
The location was 5 star.
Getting the keys was very smooth.
Communication with the owner was very good.
Apartment was very clean.
The cost of the apartment was more than advertised on the website.
The beds were uncomfortable.
The noise was very loud from the restaurants below the apartment, music played loudly until after midnight .
