The south facing terraced area captures the sun throughout all of the day and boasta exceptional views across Mojacar playa. The terraced area is very spacious and comes equipped with an outside dining table and chairs set, sun loungers, shower and a BBQ. The pool is roughly 8m x 4m and is perfect for cooling off and enjoying a refreshing swim. This property is ideally located for holidays as it is in a very peaceful and quiet area yet is only a few minutes' walk down to the beach, restaurants, cafes, bars etc… This property also comes with a private parking bay. Please note that the property is in an elevated position and is just over 300m walk down a windy and steep road to the sea front. About the neighbourhood
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars. The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays. Garrucha is the nearest town, about three miles away. It is a little fishing port with interesting fish and street markets.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 45mins drive away. Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria. Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.
