This fully air-conditioned (and centrally heated) town house on the Monte Alto development of La Cala Resort directly overlooks the golf course with views out to the Mediterranean.

There are two bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms (one has a jacuzzi bath) and both also have sun terraces, complete with chairs and sun loungers. The lounge/dining room is furnished to a very high standard with ample accommodation for 5, and leads out to a large terrace with a private garden beyond. This terrace has armchairs, dining table and chairs, and a BBQ. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you would expect from a property of this high a standard.

Lovely house, everything you need inside it which is nice. Clean, great location, fantastic view, quiet, tranquil. Definitely need a car, small kids must be watched as there are quite a few places they can hurt themselves, hard floors, lots of rugs, sharp corners at dangerous heights for kids of 6 and below. Owners go to a lot of trouble...

The property is only 2 years old , so in excellent decorative order.

Entering via the front door, there is a washroom to the left and then the fully-fitted kitchen leading to an inner patio, perfect for drying those holiday clothes prior to departure! If you should choose to dine in, you will find essential cooking ingredients in the ample cupboard space, and plenty of utensils, including a superb raclette grill. Dine out on the patio under the stars: candles and patio-heater provided too. Please replace any wine you drink! On a more practical note, you will find kettles, a toaster, pans galore, oven and halogen hob, microwave, dishwasher - all the usual gadgetry. The kitchen has wooden shutter-doors to a hatch which can be opened or closed for privacy if using the sofa bed.

Set amid beautiful cork forests La Cala Resort is a great place to stay for a relaxing or activity holiday.

The pretty local town of La Cala de Mijas has everything you need if you do not want to travel far. Supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants. There is a fine beach with all the facilities you could wish for. Horse riding is also available nearby.

The waterpark, Parque Aquatica Mijas is only 20 minutes drive away.

Marbella with its historic centre (Casco Antiguo), Orange Square and myriad of bars, shops and restaurants is only 20 minutes away. Puerto Banus is a must if you like your shops of the expensive kind (Louis Vuitton etc). The beautiful white village of Mijas is only 20 minutes away and is spectacularly visible from the main terraces of our townhouse.

Railway: Fuengirola: 15.0 km
Ferry: Algeciras/Tarifa: 100.0 km
•Take the road out of the airport and turn right onto the main A-7 road to Cadiz.
•After approximately 2 km turn off to the right onto the A-7 to Fuengirola / Mijas /Cadiz.
•Pass the Torremolinos exit.
•After a few kilometres you will pass a service area/petrol station on both sides of the road; the road now goes up-hill.
•Pass the Arroyo de la Miel and Mijas exits.
•Once the road goes downhill, stay in the right hand lane of the A-7 to Fuengirola. Do not take the toll road which forks to the left (AP-7).
•Follow the A-7, bypassing Fuengirola. Pass Fuengirola Castle on the left.
•Follow coast road until you see signs for La Cala.
•Take the exit marked La Cala de Mijas (Km. 201), down to the roundabout, turn right.
