He is regarded as the most important port and the most important holiday of the congregation Cap de Pera. Starting from the 50 years, the original fishing village that got its name mainly by Roche Fishing (= Ratjada rays) and continues to be one of the most important fishing ports on the island, developed into a popular tourist destination. He has, however, retained its original Mallorcan atmosphere. The center and its promenade offer a comprehensive selection of bars, restaurants, shops and inviting cafes. Nightlife, with its clubs and discos quite active. It also offers a range of recreational activities such as horseback riding, sailing and diving courses and is playing a popular place for hikers and nature lovers, as the Nature Park LLevant, one of the most beautiful natural parks of Mallorca with its many pristine bays of its rich flora and fauna virtually is right outside the front door. Those seeking relaxation at the beach, it is not far from Cala Ratjada: its 5 beaches (from south to north) Cala Moll, Cala Gat, Cala Agulla, Cala Moltó and Cala Mesquida are all accessible by more or less long walks and very clean and maintained. The nature reserve beach of Cala Mesquida is located within beautiful dune landscape and, through its shallow waters and the emerging wind high waves for absolute bathing fun. In the back of the bay naturist is practiced. Excursions can be easily from the local harbor by boat to Porto Cristo and Cala Millor company. Speedboat the island of Menorca can be reached from there in only 75 minutes. An ideal destination is the nearby charming town of Arta with its historical sights, markets and cultural events. In the municipality of Cap de Pera Castle 'Castell de Capdepera' is also the largest fortress of Mallorca. There is celebrated every year in May, the 'Mercat Medieval', a historic market that tourists and locals shifted back in time to the Middle Ages.
