Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Quiet, well presented and restful.
A very simple chalet, equipped with basics but still charming and fine for a limited two or three night stay. We found the bed very uncomfortable and lost sleep, but that's to my taste only and others may disagree. Location is lovely, with facilities for dog-owners and the Cenarth village is only minutes away. When we were there the park was only just springing to life so can't say too much about the pool, shops etc, but as a base for a short stay, spending most time in the surrounding area for beaches and coast it's fine.

Disappointing
We've stayed in wooden chalets and log cabins before, but this felt more like a shed. It was spacious enough and comfortably furnished, but had an overriding smell of damp, which didn't disappear when the windows were opened. There were spots of black mould on the walls in the kids bedroom, including behind the head of the lower bunk, which is not great where someone is sleeping. All the bedding felt damp and our clothes felt and smelt damp. When we arrived home, I had to wash even the things we hadn't worn because they stank. The floor in the bathroom had sunk and the sanitaryware was old, although everything functioned fine, but with 4 people using it, the bathroom never dried out fully unless the window was permanently open ( fine in summer ). However, there was a smell of sewage that intermittently wafted up through the plughole. Has the potential to be a lovely little log cabin, but the damp needs addressing and the bathroom requires some tlc. Lovely pool on site, but some aspects of the site felt rundown, too.

very sorry that this guest was disappointed. i dont really know what to say. There had been a great deal of rain in the month they stayed and it has to be remembered these are log cabins. it not only has the potential to be a lovely little cabin it is a lovely little cabin as confirmed by the overwhelming number of very positive reviews. something that disappoints me is when people make such damaging reviews but do not contact me about their concerns during their stay, had this visitor of done so i would have travelled up to speak to her about that. i shall not be disheartened by this review i will continue to make whatever improvements to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable during their stay.

Lovely cabin, lovely area
We really enjoyed our stay in Pippy Lluest cabin. Lovely clean accommodation in a beautiful peaceful woodland setting. An ideal spot for exploring the Teifi valley and North Pembrokeshire coastline. Thank you to our host Paula.

Tranquil and cosy and well located
Just had a lovely short break over half term with my young family and stayed this fantastic well presented lodge. The lodge was situated close to beaches and 15 minutes from cardigan. The site had great facilities with a bar which held a Halloween party for the children with a disco and food. This was such a lovely surprise which had a great attendance and met some of the other lodge owners! Will definitely be returning!

Fantastic!
Lovely cottage in a great setting. Very nice place to stay, comfortable beds and sofas, clean and tidy, well equipped kitchen, good heating - soon warmed up. Bathroom was fine, with a hot shower. Nice touch with the wine, pringles and chocolates on arrival - thank you so much, just what we needed after a long drive! Would definitely recommend and book again - 10/10

Cosy winter hideaway
I found it an excellent place to stay as I spent a fortnight on a writing retreat. My third visit to Pippy Lluest as it answers all my needs and is just what I require for a cosy winter hideaway in quiet and peaceful surroundings – Penlan sound likes it get wonderfully and busy with holidaying families in the summer months however! Lovely welcoming gifts as well when I arrived,

The holiday site is woodland with a huge respect for conservation. Nearby is the town of Newcastle Emlyn and in the other direction cardigan, from here you are on the cardigan coast which will take you to some of the most magnificent beaches and bays in Britain. horse riding, fishing, sea leisure pursuits, walking and sightseeing are abundant. some of the best pubs in Wales with great views, food and drink are plentiful. Tenby and the Pembrokeshire coast are within an hours drive through magnificent countryside.
