Although an absolute ideal location the home is worn, dirty, and in need of lots of attention. Upon arrival, counters had crumbs and dirt on them. The freezer drawer is broken, the window in the dining room blew open during a storm, blinds are broken. There is mold and water damage on the walls and ceilings. The outlet in the island started sparking and smoking once an item was plugged into it. The operation of most doors and windows are questionable as both entry doors require excessive force to close and lock windows. All screens are ripped and torn and sliding doors require quite a bit of strength to open and close. The fence around the pool is falling down the landscaping is over grown so leaves and other debris are constantly in the pool. We had a nice family vacation together but all agreed, we won’t be returning to this location next year.

It's a shame, because Chiilaxin has much so potential, but owner doesn't seem to care too much. I reached out to her weeks before our stay, just with general questions, no response. On our arrival day, which we were told check in starts at 4:00, we did arrive at 4:00, after an 11-hour drive, to find that the house had not been touched. Beds were not done, towels all over the floors, and nothing had been cleaned. Had to make several calls to Sandbridge Blue, before they finally sent a capable crew to clean the house. Asked for owner's phone number, they would not give it to me, nor did she ever call me. House was not done and ready for us to move in till almost 9:30pm, and although the second crew they sent was very nice, I don't think everything was done that is usually done and it was never inspected. Sandbridge Blue rentals did answer the phone every time I called, and they sent a pizza dinner which we ate by the pool, since we couldn't get in the house to make the meal we had planned, and the fact that we had food spoiling in our cars. It was a very stressful start to our week vacation. The rest of the week was fun and relaxing, but there are things in the house that need attention, (although, my husband did fix some of them to get us thru the week). Most of the sliding doors come off the track when used, some the kitchen windows blew in during a storm, you get a small shock if you touch the top of the pool liner, there is mold in the shower on the lower level, one bedroom on the second level has a very slow draining sink, and the couch in the lower level is in very poor condition. I did mention most of these to the rental place and/or the cleaning crew and some of them were addressed. The house though is in a great location, the beach is right across the street, you have amazing views from the balconies, the pool is big, a few used the hot tub, and the house was specious enough for all 14 of us. Also, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was nice having 2 refrigerators. With some TLC, this house would be great, and I would consider renting again.

Great place
Just getting home from a week 'Chillaxin and have to say it was great. The owners are easy to get ahold of and very willing to help. With 18 people (10 adults, 8 children) you did not feel crowded at all. Pool and hot tub where well kept and clean as was the house itself. Plenty of space inside and out, two huge wraparound decks. Easy access to the beach. Everyone had a great time. Would rent through the owners again
