Now that it is completely renovated and full of comfy furniture, the cottage is cute, cozy and clean with many new features. It sleeps up to six guests. Plus, you can bring Fido too. You can pick up shells, walk the driftwood, and watch the flocks of birds swoop and swirl along the surf line. Some guests spend all day discovering the thrill of mother nature. You can even drive your car right out onto the sand because we have one of the few beaches in the world where you can do that. Most drivers do fine, but be a little careful so you don't get stuck. In the afternoon, you might just want to sit and read a book sitting on our comfy furniture. The entire cabin is colorful and bright with the kind of furnishings you would expect for beach décor. At night you'll enjoy our comfy beds and nice linens. You will awake refreshed and ready to start the breakfast routine all over again. But you may want to stay up a little late to watch television because we do have Cable TV but also a DVD player or Netflix through the internet. (bring your own account.) Dogs are welcome with a standard per dog, per night fee. ABOUT OCEAN SHORES When booking with any of our properties in Ocean Shores, you will have endless options for seaside activities. When bringing your friends or family along, we're sure that each and every one of you will find an adventure worth diving into. Visiting during the warm weather? Get ready for clamming season! Rent a moped or bike and take a ride into town where you'll find the main drag. Here you'll find locally hand crafted meals served in the town's restaurants as well as boutiques filled with souvenirs to take home! The warmer days also mean horseback riding along the beach or whale watching tours, all within a short distance of all of our units. Want to head to the beach during Winter too? That's not a problem! The views are just as beautiful and it's still a great getaway from your every day life. The main drag is still just as active with bowling alleys, shops and galleries to keep you busy. While others know their way around it, we know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties is up to high-quality standards. We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking. We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise. MANAGED: This well managed property needs good behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and may require online registration and electronic signature before final booking, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 7am to 9pm everyday. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording but may not be activated depending on security company. Don't Bother

This stay was truly disappointing, marking one of the worst experiences I've had. It all began when the rental company contacted us to switch our reservation from a condo to a house with a promised hot tub—a feature we were eagerly looking forward to. Coming from the city, the idea of a private house with a hot tub was immensely appealing. We even paid an additional $150 for the upgrade. However, upon arrival, there was no hot tub to be found, completely defeating the purpose of our trip. Instead, we were greeted by the sound of rats scratching away within the walls throughout the entire weekend. Despite reaching out to customer service on Thursday for assistance, we received no resolution, and even after multiple follow-up calls, we were left without any callback by Monday. Moreover, the property itself was in poor condition; the porch was rotting, and basic amenities like toilet paper were absent, leaving us to make an unexpected trip to the store after a long 3.5-hour drive. There was no prior indication, either through email or notes, that we needed to bring our own toilet paper. The kitchen supplies were either rusted, broken, or unusable, while the furniture, including the couches in the living room and the bed in the master bedroom, were uncomfortable to the point of being unbearable. Despite its proximity to the beach, the $700 we paid for this rental felt like a complete waste. I cannot express enough my dissatisfaction with By The Sea Vacation Rentals. This has been the most unprofessional rental experience I've ever encountered, and I have no intention of ever renting from them again.
