Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Quiet and cozy.
My wife and I have stayed at Lisa's property many times. It's a cozy two bedroom with large family/living room containing a hide-a-bed. Two bathrooms and a large kitchen, make it complete. The yard is totally AMAZING especially in the spring and summer...like a garden but full of blossoms of all kinds. There are also strawberries and raspberries! The yard is frequented by birds, especially humming birds, rabbits, and deer. Lisa is an amazing host and will make you feel welcome and right at home on your first visit. It's a great spot close to Olympia but still out in the country just far enough for a rural feel. It's always peaceful. There are no sidewalks but walking around the area on the small paved rural roads is quite a treat.

Thank you for your amazing endorsement, Lanette! The hummingbirds and beautiful Mountain View are always my special joy, I agree. I delight in the little details of hosting that puts the cherry on top!

Delightful. Lisa went out of her way to make our stay as nice as possible
Over the past few years we have rented a number of homes in California. Most were nice but we have never encountered an owner who took so much care to make us feel welcome and provide for our every need.
The house was a delight. I wished we had had more time to just explore the area.
We are strongly considering reserving this same home for a future trip this coming summer.

THROUGH THE TYPHOON WIND AND RAIN, INCREDIBLE STAY IN A GREAT SPACE!
Lisa, our landlord could not have been accommodating!
The typhoon was still a factor for our stay, she had candles flashlights water wood for the fireplace and emergency supplies waiting, just in case!
Her property was clean comfortable and really well stocked, we felt right at home. Her central location worked out the best for us. Great adventures any way we turned mt Olympia mt Rainier mt Hood Portland and our last day Seattle. The thing we liked least was having to leave, but our time was up!

The Bagleys epitomized for me why I host -Their positivity and joy exploring WA from the "welcome home" feeling at the end of a great day exploring.
We can't control the weather but I'm ready for it!
Thank you so much for photographing my sweet hummingbirds, and gifting me their framed images! "Sparkles" and "Ruby" hold center stage for all to enjoy.

This is a home away from home with all the added touches.
Loved this home. All the amenities and special touches made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Lisa was great to work with and was very helpful in trying to make us feel welcome. With great views, cleanliness, great outdoor space with a view of Mt Reinier, and a comfortable design, we lived this home.

I am so glad your stay was everything you had hoped for. It's easy to forget to bring the incidentals when traveling and I think about "what else" to stock to assure a great stay. The views of Mt. Rainier are pretty sweet!
Come on back any time!

Great experience and exactly as promised!
Lisa and her rental property were exceptional. Everything was clean nicely decorated and well stocked with the essentials. We really enjoyed and appreciated our stay and Lisa's warm hospitality. My family is already planning our next visit. I highly recommend this property for either a vacation getaway or for business travel. Its's so much nicer, more private and more comfortable than a hotel could ever be.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing retreat with family
We stayed here when we were attending our son's graduation from Evergreen, and loved it. The yard is beautiful and well attended, and there's furniture and several BBQs available. It was the perfect place for extended family and friends to come over and hang out instead of being trapped in hotels. It was quiet and comfortable, and Lisa was a great host. It's pet friendly--which means that if you're someone with allergies you might want to think twice. We would definitely stay here again.

You know when you want /need to go somewhere, but want to make it a retreat?
This is such a great place for that. It's peaceful, yet a 10 minute drive into Washington State's capital town of Olympia. There are some fantastic restaurants and don't forget the world famous Olympia Oysters! We had fun at the Waterfront restaurant, Budd's Oyster Bay and some other places. We also just hung out at the house and made things using the grill.
Back to the house, the owner has it set up so it's an open-air feel and while everyone can have their space, they still can gather and have a good time in one particular spot. There is a backyard with a big deck, furniture, a large fenced yard (hello, Daisy gets to go on the trip!!)
A couple of minutes away, there are a few things like a massage /day spa (No, not a night massage!) and a market /gas station. Surprisingly the market has fresh fish, locally smoked salmon, and fresh roaming beef sold by locals. I bet they sell fresh fish caught that morning there in about a month. They were all wrapped in those seal-a-meal deals.
If you are coming for the golf tournament at Chambers Bay, this would be a pretty good option as it's about 30-35 minutes North. We went to check out the area for the tournament, ahead of time. It will be a nice place to stay then as it's away from the frenzied crowd. Who can handle that all day and then at night as well? I need my private/quiet time. This just fit the bill perfectly.
Thanks Lisa for being a great host!

About the neighbourhood
Olympia is on the water in the Pacific Northwest, the capitol city in a rich and diverse population. We are just 35 minutes to Chamber's Bay US Open, freeway close. Snuggled in the Puget Sound, we are close to marinas, beaches, parks, hiking, biking trails, everything a vacation needs. Olympia has a thriving downtown Farmer's Market at Percival Landing, where live music and multitudes of events are hosted all summer long. Hands On Museum is a state of the art new children's museum, in walking distance to local eateries, micro breweries and fresh local clams, oysters and seafood. We are 1.5 hours to the ocean, 2 hours to Mt. Rainier. If it's big city attractions, Seattle is just 70 miles away up the freeway. <BR>My rental is a block away from the bay. Enjoy a full view of Mt. Rainier from the kitchen as you have your morning coffee or tea. Terraced decks provide ample space to play and relax in the private yard. Your pets have a doggy door that opens to a fenced back yard for their enjoyment and your ease. Ample off street parking available if you want to bring your boat, RV, camper, or extra vehicles. In the yard find fresh raspberries, strawberries, pears, blueberries, mint, chives, and a vegetable garden at your disposal, depending on what time of year you book. Thanks for looking at my place!
