The Huckleberry Suite is, indeed, SWEET! Neat as a pin, well appointed and VERY comfortable. The essentials were evident with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer all present and accounted for upon arrival so no visit to Hannefords is necessary before you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea. The apartment is ROOMY and well-lit and in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor with easy walks to everywhere in the town. VERY quiet neighborhood. Staircase up to apartment is wide and roomy and loved the coat rack and shoe storage bin outside the kitchen door. The bedroom was a bit cramped but plenty of closet and drawer space and a small desk available. I used the kitchen table to set up my laptop and that worked great for me. Comfortable furniture and I found the bed to be more comfortable than my wife did. The owners, Jim and Carol, live right next door and while this is an "upstairs-downstairs" we didn't hear the downstairs neighbors much at all. To sum it up: a great apartment at a fair rate. The $350.00 security deposit was returned within a couple of days of our vacating the apartment and leaving it as neat and tidy as we found it. A washer and dryer and laundry soap is provided so no trip to the Laundromat is necessary (although Bar Harbor has a wonderful little Laundromat). There was also soap in the shower and shampoo and conditioner in the cabinet. Also PLENTY of TP and paper towels provided. We will, definitely, stay here again!

Great appartment in the heart of Bar Harbor
We stayed there a full week in July and really liked our experience. The appartment is new, fully furnished and was really clean. We found the rooms are bigger than the pictures suggest (the bedroom could fit an extra mattress for our 3 years old daughter) and we were happily surprised to see a little terrace at the back. It's located right in the middle of Bar Harbor in a residential, quiet neighborhood. At first we were looking for a beach appartment, but this one was actually much more convenient. It's a 2 min walk to the grocery store and 10 min to the city center and the waterside. There's a place for your car, which is good in the center, and all the main roads are easily accessible. Good wifi and tv too.

Excellent location
We enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Suite very much! The apartment has everything could possibly need and want. It is a excellent location. Quite but still walking distance to all the restaurants, the shops and the harbor. I would definitely stay here again.
