Nice 1 BR 1.5 BA townhouse in the heart of the village, walk everywhere or take the free buses to tour Acadia.
Relax and unwind...forget the car, you'll love the ease and convenience of being able to walk everywhere from this lovely shingle-style townhouse located in downtown Bar Harbor. Main living on th 2nd floor, bedroom on the 3rd floor. Nice furnishings, comfy new bed. Kids may use the sleeps sofa in the living room. Open balcony overlooks Mt Desert Street.
Ideally-located right in the heart of Bar Harbor, you can wlk to all the village amenities and the restaurants, shops, parks and the harbor area. The free Island Explorer buses stage a block away for convenient access to Acadia National Park and other points of interest on the island.

Great condo and value.
Perfect location for all in-town restaurants and attractions. Everything is walking distance. Easy to escape the traffic for accessing Acadia and Mount Desert Island. Condo is fully functional with plenty of space. Appliances are all new or close to new. Great having both full and half baths. There is a trade off between easy access and noise. Mt. Desert St./Rte. 3 is a heavily used road and there is a lot of activity day and night. Where the condo is on the second/third floors, this is reduced a bit and we didn't find it to be too disconcerting. Will definitely stay in this condo again if available for our dates.

Great Place!
This place was great! It was everything we needed it to be and more. The location was perfect, just a few minute walk into town. This was my 5th year coming to Bar Harbor, and so far this was the best place we stayed at. This place was pretty spacey, and very comfortable. We had a great vacation staying here, and will definitely be staying here again! Great memories made here this year!!

Very clean and welcoming...perfect location
We loved it here and will be sure to go back again. Plenty of space and very clean. Very close to everything and just a few miles to Acadia. Our stay went way too quick!

It was Simply Marvelous!
My wife and I travelled there for our Honeymoon last Sept. Although the
Govt. Had shut down and the Parks were closed, we
Had a wonderful time. The cottage we stayed in was
absolutely beautiful! The Fireplace added an extra
Special touch to our stay. Also, the staff who helped
Us with our reservation was outstanding! :-)
We plan on returning!!

Close to downtown with some issues
The apartment is modern with two floors, good for a couple or small family given the sofas on the first floor. Good location and reasonably priced. My reservations with it are 1. Lack of promised wireless. I moved all around the townhouse and could find no hotspot. I called the property managers twice and had no satifactory response. I had to go to the public library down the street to use my laptop. Disappointing. 2. Noise from street-there's a reason they provide white noise machines. Not a big problem but be aware. 3. The kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner (bits of food still in the fridge and sink in the kitchen, bathroom and other surfaces not wiped down enough). The outside parking area had trash in the spaces and hedges the whole week we were there.
My overall impression is that this could be a very nice rental, but that the present owners are selling and not taking as much care as they could.
