Totally what I expected when I checked into the unit and would definitely rent again if I ever get back to Moab.

excellent lodging but $49.99 reservation fee is way out of bounds
See above comment--reservation fee is ridiculously high--I doubt I'll stay there again although I've stayed there a number of times.

Cozy and convenient
We rented this little condo for a brief stay after Christmas 2016. The location was convenient to the grocery store as well as the parks that we wanted to visit.

Purple Sage 2
This is the second year we have stayed in this suite. It is VERY clean. The newly updated kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The towels are great, the sheets need an update. The 3 washer/dryer pairs in the laundry shed are wonderful. We will definitely stay here again next year.

Nice
The staff super helpful, our first choice had air conditioning problems so they placed us into a larger condo near the golf course. Very nice, we even had our own hot tub.

Nice time
We spent the fourth of July here. It was very reasonably priced and comfortable. The kitchen is a little small but cozy. We would recommend it to anyone.

Great place, very reasonable price
This condo was not lavish but served our purposes very, very well. We used it as a place to eat and sleep while we explored the two national parks nearby. The details of the rental were very easy although checking out was a bit difficult because we left before the office opened. We would stay here again if we return to Moab. A great value for the price.

convenient but outdated
Purple Sage is located in Moab city center just a few blocks away from the main street where there are plenty of restaurants and a big supermarket. It is on a quiet block, not much traffic and the neighborhood is safe. But the unit is a bit outdated. The air conditioning in the living room is covered with dust, and the toaster does not work properly.

Comfortable but...
I found Purple Sage to be comfortable but I found the management company confusing to deal with as they are not right on site. They are not there to check you in or out. The sidewalk had a section of loose and wobbly concrete and the parking area was poorly lit. The neighborhood did inspire confidence or a feeling of safety. Information with address on booking sheet was to the management company not the condo which was confusing. Company expects you do dump garbage in dumpster at back of lot and to strip the linen.

We apologize for troubles that you had locating your unit. We give guests the option to check in at our office, or directly at their unit. Most prefer to go directly to their unit. We provide detailed check in instructions upon booking, but it appears in this instance that the company you booked with did not pass these instructions on to you. I apologize for that, and it's important for future guests to contact MPM directly if they have not received their check in instructions. Some companies, such as the one you booked through, do not pass along guests contact information, and we have to rely on them to forward this information on. The parking area is directly in front of Purple Sage, and is well lit by several street lights. We'll definitely look into the sidewalk for future guests. Finally, we have a few optional things guests can do on checkout if they'd like to earn a coupon on their next stay with us. Those are entirely optional, and up to the guest whether or not they'd like to perform them. Thank you for your recent stay, and we'd be happy to host you again.

Great place, very smart management
We were prepared for a run-down old apartment, but Purple Sage (#2) was delightful and far exceeded our expectations. We agree with other reviewers:
- very professionally operated
- great location, really quiet but convenient
- only 4 blocks to town center (can walk)
- NOT a fancy neighborhood but feels totally safe
- secure digital locks (no keys to carry)
- thoroughly clean inside and out
- spacious, and furnished above the price point
- really comfortable bed, great sleep
- plenty of drawers, all working fine
- multiple closets with good hangers
- kitchen well equipped and practical
- refrigerator not large but works perfectly
- quite good linens and toiletries
- pleasant grounds with mature trees & furnished lawn
- pristine spa hot tub, good Hot Spring model
- premium front-load washer/dryers (3 each, free)
- laundry detergent provided
- very hot tap water, nearly instant
- outdoor space in back for clean-up
- easy load in / out (drive to back door)
- strong fast WIFI with zero problems
- gas BBQ grill, not great but well maintained
- plenty of information, answered all our questions
Minor negatives:
- kitchen sink is miniature (bar size)
- shower nozzle too low for average size people
- plumbing fixtures old (but work okay)
- some window screens don't fit
- can hear the upstairs guests walking, but noise was never a problem.
Like our title says, Purple Sage must have very smart managers. They have thought of everything, and made the extra effort to provide for completely happy guests. We really appreciated the little touches. The high-end washer/dryer sets were a pleasant surprise. The other guests we talked to seemed very pleased too. This is a model for how such a place should be operated. Next visit to Moab, we won't even look at any other accommodations!
