House Rental
This home has an open floor plan, lots of light and hardwood floors. The house is clean, modern, and comfortable. Our three queen beds have high quality mattresses as does the futon, it is important that you sleep well on vacation!
The master has its own bathroom, a queen bed and large windows that look out onto the mountains and gardens.
The upstairs has two bedrooms. One has a queen and a daybed that opens to make two twins. The other bedroom has a queen and a double futon. The upstairs has a full bath with a tub/shower that is shared between the two bedrooms.
The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area and has a sectional couch and comfortable chairs.
The kitchen is brand new, modern and has all the basics you should need to cook and enjoy meals while staying here.

Wow!!! They improved upon perfection!
I stayed at their other house two years ago and was beyond impressed. I was sure that this new house going to be nice too, but it was even better than the first. The views, cleanliness, and layout were equally amazing, But I personally enjoyed this patio and covered porch even more. It is truly the best of both worlds, so close to Asheville, but it feels like you are in a world of your own. I would not hesitate to stay at either of Steve and Louise's houses. Thank you!

A cozy getaway so close to everything!
We went with 3 other families and our young toddlers and the home was super kid friendly. They supplied us with a high chair and pack and play as well as a gate for the stairs. They really thought of everything. The home had all the kitchen supplies that we needed and we spent many evenings just hanging out and grilling relaxing in the house. Very clean and comfortable.amazing views as well!

Fantastic -- perfect location, great mountain home
Fantastic overall. Highly recommend.
Outstanding location, all the amenities you could want or need. Immaculately maintained 3 bedroom 2.5 Baths.
Great kitchen and living areas with views from every room!
Centerally located, 10 mins to downtown Asheville.
Owners were very nice.

Peaceful location and wonderfully appointed house only 10 minutes from Asheville
Lovely views from the deck across the hills and a great location with local shops and restaurants only a couple of miles away. Steve and Louise had prepared everything for us, including providing us with a dozen eggs for breakfast! This is a great family friendly house with a marvelous fireplace and a well appointed kitchen. The towels were really top quality too! Definitely recommended.

Wonderful location!
The proximity to downtown Asheville is incredible yet the home feels secluded and private with gorgeous views of the mountains and sunset from the deck. The kitchen is well appointed and we enjoyed cooking meals with a fire in the fireplace. Everything you might need has been provided and the owners are responsive and helpful. We hated to leave this charming home and will definitely be back!

Best of Both-Tranquility and Easy Access to Asheville
Our second stay at Steve and Louise’s property. The home is clean and simply but well appointed in comfortable furnishings. Kitchen is way above expected for a vacation rental-great appliances and the knives are even sharp! Fresh eggs in the fridge are a nice touch.
Some days we never left the porch and rockers to admire the views toward Mt. Mitchell.
Groceries gas and Starbucks are 5 minutes away. Several very good restaurants also nearby in case you don’t care to cook or drive the whopping 12 minutes to downtown Asheville.
We have observed deer and countless birds on the meadow from the porch. Enjoyed the Blue Moon and a fire in the pit with hummingbirds and honeysuckle all around.
Really a great value and so much nicer than staying in a hotel. My suggestion to others is to always add one more day to your stay-you’ll be grateful you did.
