Welcome to my sunny Upper West Side apartment with view on the Natural History Museum and one block away from Central Park! The area is very cute with many great restaurants and bars in walking distance (around the block). The perfect place to spend a vacation during holiday season or a long weekend. My quaint pre-war brownstone apartment is a beauty and I have spent a lot of time making it as comfortable as possible. It is well worth the walk-up. The king-sized bed has a luxury firm mattress which is amazingly comfortable - great for your back after long walks in the city. The apartment is kept very clean and you will have dishes to use, high speed wireless internet, and kitchen (oven, microwave, dish washer, etc. - no coffee maker but there is a Starbucks a few doors down the street). ...Welcome to my sunny Upper West Side apartment with view on the Natural History Museum and one block away from Central Park! The apartment is next door to a 24h Duane Reade if you need anything. There are two AC units, a powerful ceiling fan in the bedroom and another stand-alone fan for the living room to cool you down from the summer heat. The area is considered one of the most luxurious and safest areas in NYC. It is the Upper West Side after all. :) From the apartment, you are a 5 minute subway ride (1 Express stop on 2 & 3) from Times Square (plus 4 minutes walk to subway stop 72nd street, trains run every 2-3 minutes, runs all night long). The Meatpacking district and West Village have a great night life. They are THE 2 most popular places to go out in NYC (just 3 subway stops away on the Express lines 2 & 3). Near major subways (B, C, 1, 2 & 3), tons of restaurants, galleries and boutiques. You will not share this apartment. It will be all yours. Become an Upper West Sider, stroll in Central Park before everyone else in the morning or on Columbus Avenue in the afternoon (lots of sweet boutiques there), go for a frozen Yoghurt and enjoy this beautiful city in all its richness. * Sheets and towels included. I have reserved 3 big shelves in the bedroom for you to use during your stay. I look forward to hearing from you. Welcome to New York City !!! CrysMore

Interaction with guests
Whatever works for you but I am a more of a hands-on type of owner and like to make sure my guests are comfortable. This is not a hotel but my home so I treat my guests as family guests rather than total strangers. :) This is my style. If this type of interaction is not for you than feel free to rent another place, I completely understand.

Crystelle was a great host, and we were so happy to stay in her nice apartment! The location is great, and just a few blocks from a couple of different subway stations. We had a very comfortable stay and would come again!

Great little Upper West side apartment just one block from Central Park, close to subways, restaurants and museums. Yes the unit is an upper floor walkup but there’s nothing wrong with some light exercise a few times a day, plus that’s just New York living....More

About the neighbourhood
The Upper West Side is a primarily residential neighborhood, but it can serve as a great home base for visitors to New York City, and is certainly worth exploring if you have time. The Upper West Side provide visitors an escape from the chaos of Midtown and other heavily touristed areas. It is a convenient location for exploring Central Park , as well as the American Museum of Natural History , and the many subways and buses make it easy to explore other areas of the city. It is a great neighborhood for shopping (especially at gourmet stores, like Zabar's and Fairway), and the brownstone lined blocks and luxury apartment buildings make the Upper West Side well worth strolling around. You Can also enjoy an Opera or Ballet at the Lincoln Center within a short 10min walk down Colombus Avenue.
