'The Urban Schooner' was inspired by our love of the sea. This brand new sun drenched corner unit was just built (Spring '18), has a light and airy feel with ample room (1200 sqft!) and chic design. The location is unbeatable - a short walk from Independence Hall, but right on the bustling South Street for the perfect mix of old world and new world. Come hitch up to our dock and experience the MOST EXCITING home without a hitch! The Space: • Public parking garage in basement of our building. They charge $15-25 / day. Street parking is limited to 2-3 hours between 8 am - 10 pm and most is metered. • Our place is always spic and span, because we take our cleaning very seriously. • King Sized Bed • Washer & Dryer in apartment! • Small Gym near the lobby • All the windows have blinds so the...'The Urban Schooner' was inspired by our love of the sea. Please, make yourself at home. We also have a pack and play, but please let us know if you need it so we can leave it out for you. Interaction with Guests: We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We’re only a message or phone call away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. The Neighborhood: We're located in the heart of Society Hill. Right next to the famous bustling South Street and sitting on the historical Headhouse Square. There are tons of restaurants and bars within minutes and we're also close to Old City and Independence Hall. A quick taxi/uber/lyft ride or a bike ride away is Rittenhouse Square, City Hall and the Museum of Arts. We're close to the 95 so getting down to the stadiums is also easy. Getting Around: Walking is our preferred method of getting around since so many of the main Philadelphia attractions are within walking distance. If you are going further away, we highly recommend using the Indego bike sharing station right outside our building. Other Things to Note: Located right on South Street, one of Philadelphia's most famous streets, it is home to great dining, shopping and entertainment. That being said, the street noise can sometimes be heard inside the unit - especially on popular nights of the week. Please remember that you’re staying in an apartment, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. There is also a door man who is on-site 24/7. How to get there
How to get here If you’re arriving from the airport the easiest way to get to our apartment is probably to take a taxi or a lyft/uber. This shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes. However, if you’d like to take public transport you can take the Airport train to Jefferson Station, switch to the MFL line going east and get off at 2nd Street. From there you walk south for about 10-15 minutes and you’re at our place! If you’re arriving from the train station you can take the MFL line east to 2nd Street and then walk south for about 10-15 minutes. Parking Street parking in our neighborhood is limited to 2-3 hours between 8 AM and 10 PM and most of it is metered. We recommend using the parking garage in the basement of our building.
