Relaxing getaway
This was the perfect getaway for my family. The owners were very helpful and made our stay so comfortable. They even arranged an adjoining room with a crib for our two year old son. The home was a gorgeous Federal Colonial with modern amenities - jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom, large flat screen TV in the family room and commercial coffee maker in the dining room. This house was even more beautiful than the pictures and the rooms were large which gave us plenty of space to spread out and "live" in the house. The family room was a great place to relax and unwind. The location was perfect for us just outside Gettysburg in the quiet little town of Fairfield. The view of the mountains was gorgeous and we enjoyed walking through the town. The market across the road was great for picking up groceries and snacks for quick meals back at the house. We can't wait to go back and explore some more-especially the apple orchards nearby. Could not have a had a better experience all around!

Charming property inside and out with all the comforts of home
I recently stayed here with a group of friends looking for a short weekend getaway. The atmosphere was relaxed, everything functional, the beds comfortable, and the rooms clean and homey. Pat and Nadine were wonderful hosts and definitely put thought and effort in to creating an atmosphere that felt like home. Spacious rooms, bathroom, and a great meeting area downstairs with kitchen and dining area to hang out.

Owners are very accommodating and the house was beautiful!
Travelled with two kids under 6, my parents who are in their 60s, my sister and her boyfriend and my 92 year old grandmother. The house was perfect for everyone! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were great for those who didn't climb stairs well. The dining room fit the 9 of us around the table without being cramped and the living room was comfortable. Upstairs the kids found a little nook for their toys. Everyone enjoyed the front porch and second floor balcony. The views over the fields were great. And there was a cute pizza place across the street. Gettysburg was easily accessible by car and parking there was no trouble. Pat and Nadine were very welcoming and greeted us with baked goods. They were attentive over the weekend and answered questions quickly. Would definitely recommend to others!

Comfortable home just outside of Gettysburg, Pa
Spend some time on Main street USA in a great home beautifully maintained by two gracious hosts. Large rooms, high ceilings, professional coffee section in the kitchen. Nice restaurant, market and church in walking distance. Friendly people in town. Highly recommended if you seek lodging near Gettysburg but do not wish to be in a crowded area.

Great place for a family get together
WE just got back from a wonderful stay with our family at The Corner Brick. There were 8 adults and 3 children under the age of 2. There was plenty of room for all. The house was over the top clean, furnished comfortably with great linens and plenty of towels. There was a nice big table that accommodated all of us at meals, too. Lovely, peaceful back yard. Conveniently located. We visited the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and Zoo one day and the Adams County Winery the next. Pat and Nadine are wonderful hosts and the treats they left for us were especially nice.

Everything you could ever ask for in a vacation rental!!!!
This house is amazing! The rooms are spectacular both by its history and the way it is decorated. The owners made it a point to spoil you in every way possible including the special treats when you arrive to the wonderful fresh ground coffee they provided(not to mention the welcome written on the board out front)! The rooms are huge, the kitchen and dining room wonderful not to mention the great backyard with a fantastic view! Very close to Gettysburg and located is a great little town with restaurants. There is too much to write all of the great things about this house. The owners are terrific people and we were so happy to meet them. I would reccomend this house to anyone. We look forward to renting again in the near future. Bonnie Wheeling, WV

Can't wait to go back!
When I arrived, I was totally blown away at the size of the overall home including each room as the pictures do not do it justice. The spaciousness of the home itself is great for a large family or group to where you definitely are able to have enough of your own space, yet it is such a warm atmosphere that has been created by the owners that I would love to be there just with my husband. The closeness to Gettysburg is great, but the charm of Fairfield leaves a lot of additional places and things to explore!! I am returning in spring for a ladies long weekend and looking forward to enjoying the home and property and all it has to offer with its beauty and charm as my first stay definitely wasn't long enough to take it all in! I just didn't want to leave :)

Great for Families and Cyclists
The home was just perfect for a weekend away with my family, five of us in total. The house was tastefully furnished, very clean and spacious. The beds and plush carpeting were so comfortable! The high ceilings made it feel bigger in person than the pictures online. We spent many hours sitting in the backyard enjoying the outstanding panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you're a cyclist, this is the place for you. Pat and Nadine took me on a spin Sunday morning from the house through gorgeous Adams County. We passed apple orchards and farm stands and there was little to no traffic. There are also several rail trails within driving distance. They have bikes you can borrow. And of course cyclists need good fuel so their homemade baked goods and specialty coffee really hit the spot.
