Located in the Chalet Village Resort area of Gatlinburg. The cabin is just across the street from the boundary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The vehicular entrance to the park is about a mile drive from the cabin. Gatlinburg is the gateway to the National Park and provides many restaurants and attractions. It is about 10 miles to the Dollywood Amusement Park and downtown Pigeon Forge. The cabin is very near the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park. You can ride the Aerial Tramway from there to Downtown Gatlinburg.
Getting around
Most of our guests travel by car. There are interconnected trolley systems in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge that access all attractions. The nearest trolley access is about 1.5 miles away from the cabin. Due to the terrain and roads, it is not recommended to walk to the trolley. You can also drive to the Ski Resort and take the aerial tram into Gatlinburg. Please note that in the summer, the tram quits running about 8pm. Be sure to check when the last trip time is. There is also limited taxi and Uber service.
