Fantastic apartment. Spacious, warm and comfortable with lovely balconies to enjoy the mountain vistas. Close to all the amenities of Kaprun. Great place to stay and would highly recommend.

A warm family holiday
It was a great week in Kitz residenz Kaprun. The apartment felt like home from the start and being welcomed by frau Mitterhauser is a little party at itself. The balcony, cosy living and kitchen table were used for beautiful conversations - which means the company and the weather were great, and luckily the snow was still good enough in the higher areas.
We all enjoyed the warm setting of Kitz. The apartment - and the slopes in Kaprun and Sell am See - made our holiday with the combined family an unforgettable one.

We have a great time in Kaprun
The apartment at Kids recidens is Nice. It is in a good place.The ski bus is close nu and you can also walk to the village in a few minutes.
The booking and the contact with the owner was good.

Couldn't want more!
What a fantastic find! This apartment has everything you could possibly need and more, even a coffee machine! The kitchen is more than equipped and there is a supermarket virtually on the doorstep. It has the most beautiful views from its south facing balcony and the ski bus stop is not far at all. The apartment is super cosy and homely.
The skiing is amazing and with Kitzsteinhorn glacier it gives guaranteed snow. The location is spot on, you literally couldn't ask for more. Paul and Gillian go over and above to help with any questions you may have. I Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Super slivakantie
Again we have had a very nice time in the appartment. It was very good, and clean. Its cosy en comfortable. The weather and snow was also very good. Its fine that the busstop is near the appartment. Mrs Mitterhausen has take care that everyrhing was oké. maybe we will come back in another year.

Value for money and friendly service.
After booking.com messing us around with our first trip, we were recommended Kitz 6 by a friend and we were not disappointed!
My mates and I loved the surrounding area as it's very different from the French Alps (we like to ski in Meribel). We loved the vast choice of resorts to choose from using the Salzburgerland pass. Thanks for the tip Paul.
The apartment was clean and spacious and having a TV to watch films in the evening, help us unwind after a hard day skiing.
We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a great value for money apartment, spacious for 7 of us and doesn't mind getting a bus or driving to a new resort.

Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment and we are glad you had a great time there and skiing. It is a large apartment, great for 2 families or large group of friends. The Salzburgerland Ski pass is good value if you want to travel to various resorts in one holiday.

The family and I had a fantastic time in Paul's apartment. It was clean, spacious for all 8 of us and very well equipped kitchen! We really appreciated the coffee pod machine in the mornings. We saved a lot of money eating out as the kitchen had everything needed to cook for 8 hungry skiers. Oh, and the supermarket was a stone throw away.
We were very lucky with the snow that week and the week before was very warm! Thanks for all the recommendations but we decided to just ski Kaprun, Zell, Maria Alm and the Glacier... The kids didn't want to spend any longer than 30 minutes in the car.
We look forward to booking with you again Paul for next season.

Amazing
Kitz residenz is a beautiful apartment with everything you could need, home from home. Balcony with amazing views. Boot room for all your equipment and frequent bus service up to the slopes. Visited later this year, but conditions up on kitzsteinhorn and zell am see were brilliant, with fresh snow on 2 of our days. Local restaurants still of the high quality as previous years.

Family holiday
Our family had am amazing week, the apartment is spacious, even with 6 of us, 2 bathrooms a huge help. Spacious kitchen/dinner. Plenty of room with lovely beds. The location, walking distance to town, and parking is fab, for our large people carrier. Several areas to ski also made for a lovely family holiday, lessons for the little ones with kind, English speaking instructor. Amazing views too.

There are lots of different resorts to ski if you have the Salzburgerland ski pass, all family friendly and most within 1 hours drive if you have a car. Everyone here is friendly and most people do speak English.

Amazing week!
What an incredible week of snow! Although we had the glacier for more reliable snow we ski all over the place. Kitz, saalbach and Zell.
The accommodation is spacious and clean. Highly recommend it to anyone. I like the fact we had a boot warmer and ski room :)

Kaprun is in the heart of some of the best skiing in the world, guaranteed skiing all year round on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier 5 km away and located in the beautiful Hohe Tauern National Park.
There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and facilities within 100- 800m of the Kitz Residenz apartment in Kaprun Village Centre, including a new Spa Centre with saunas, steam rooms, solariums and good indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Kaprun is a pretty Village with good facilities and reasonable night life, but not noisy! There is more night life in Zell am See, which has plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants if you are looking for more variety and only 10 minutes drive away.
There are 2 supermarkets are within walking distance of 1000m. Choice of shops, banks, post office, tourist information, night clubs, ski and sports hire shops are all close by in the village centre (all 500-1000m away).
The Krimml Waterfalls are the largest in the Alps and the Grossglochner 3798m is the largest mountain, both are close by! In the summer there is over 400km of hiking routes and 720km of mountain biking routes for all abilities plus is was home to the Mountain Biking World Cup Finals! Lake Zell is only 10 minutes away and has a couple of small grass area for swimming from during the summer only! You can skate on it in the winter! There are several glacial lakes close by where you can relax in the summer in the fresh mountain air. Temperatures in the summer are 20-30 c, but it never gets humid or sticky as the village lies at 800m above sea level.
Three hour drive time over the Grossglockner Mountain Pass takes you into Italy and down to the Mediterranean and Venice is 4 hours drive.
