The House: My small sweet house is within 2 short blocks of the light rail (with easy, cheap and direct line to airport, downtown, Capitol Hill, University of Washington), and just 2 short stops from both Safeco & Century Link stadiums. I am on 2 bus lines, and within 2 blocks of a great market, library, stellar brewery, great local eateries and charming coffee shops. Also 4-5 blocks from a public golf course and driving range, a huge city park, and several great playgrounds. I occasionally have a kid around but we are quiet, and hope you are too. The Room: Large rec/media room in recently remodeled basement, with cozy firm new queen bed with memory foam topper. Plenty of clean pillows and bedding. Interaction with guests
I love chatting with guests when our paths cross and am always available - even if not in person - to answer questions, address concerns, or provide recommendations/advice. Generally, I try to give folks their space, but I make every attempt to be around to welcome folks upon arrival, and to at least say hello during their stay.

Max’s place is not only a quick walk from the light rail station, you also get good privacy in a cozy basement room. Bed is a convertible couch but very comfy. Room has nice art and lighting.

Nicely located between Seattle centre and the airport, we could reach this place easily by public transport. Easy arrival, complete information before arrival, and a clean place. Since it's in the basement, there is not so much light, so mainly a recommended place for people...More

About the neighbourhood
Beacon Hill is both a a hill and neighborhood in Seattle, former home to the world HQ of Amazon, the hill offers views of downtown, the SoDo District, Elliott Bay, First Hill, and, when the weather is good, Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. The American Planning Association named Beacon Hill as one of the 30 Great Places in America. The features of Beacon Hill that constitute an APA Great Place include urban design and aesthetics, multi-modal transportation, a variety of uses within the neighborhood, sustainability, community participation and involvement, and memorable character. Beacon Hill has recently become known nationally for its Food Forest in Jefferson Park.
Getting around
My home is within 2 short blocks of the light rail (with direct line to airport, downtown, Capitol Hill, the University of Washington), and both Safeco and Century Link Field stadiums. I am on 2 bus lines, and within 2 blocks or less of a great supermarket, library, terrific brewery, and some great local eateries and charming coffee shops. Also about 4-5 blocks from a public golf course and massive city park, and several great playgrounds.
