The basic kitchen and bathroom which have disappointed some in the past have been refurbished for 2014 season. We are not responsible for the weather!

La Fosse cottage has been decorated using naturel materials in keeping with it's rustic character, including beautiful locally produced clay floor tiles in the living area. A wood burner provides a cosy atmosphere thoughout and exposed timbers add to the charm of this pretty fairytale cottage.
Although compact, the space works perfectly well for a family of four, with two full sized day beds in the living area for the children, and a delightful mezzanine bedroom under the eaves for the adults.
The bathroom is suprisingle spacious with a full sized bath and shower attatchment. The kitchenette has everything you need in a compact space, including a mini oven, though during the summer months many visitors prefer to cook on the BBQ outside.

We will be happy to advise you on finding special places to explore, hidden treasures that we have enjoyed as a family having lived in the region for 11 years. There are many good restaurants to choose from within a 10km radius ranging from some excellent seafood restaurants where you can sample locally caught produce, notably oysters and mussels, to quiet country auberges or bustling creperies, not to mention the unique fine dining experience that is 'Chez Roger.'
The local town Carentan has all amenities readily to hand, and a lovely market on monday mornings. The nearest supermarket, garage and recycling facilities are only a 5 minute drive away.
