EL APARTAMENTO: beautiful, self contained first floor of an old Andalucían farmhouse (Cortijo Nuevo). Wonderfully tranquil and relaxing South from Granada on the COSTA TROPICAL 3kms East from MOTRIL, many beaches nearby. Set in exotic and lush sub-tropical gardens: privacy, patios, pool, pets, plants - perfect holiday home for discerning travellers. Wi-Fi zone - wonderful mild Winter temperatures. LGBT suitable naturists.

NO INFANTS OR CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS PERMITTED, to allow a wonderful sense of tranquility and calm in the lush sub-tropical gardens and poolside.

Patrick, the resident British owner lives alone in the main farmhouse. Here to help with any issues or problems you may encounter, offer help, advice or simply chat. Will respect your privacy and keep out of the way if you prefer solitude. The gardens (half an acre) were designed with privacy in mind and easy to lose oneself amongst the lush planting and various patios.

El Apartamento is a well-equipped, comfortable and atmospheric self-catering facility ideal for couples. The roof garden caters for sun-worshippers. The owner, Patrick, is a genial and most helpful ex-pat Englishman and dog-lover who has developed a delightful sub-tropical garden. The nearby town, Motril, has all you need, including an excellent supermarket, and many attractions including the Sierra Nevada are within...

Fantastic location very close to the coast. The apartment is ideal for our needs being nice and cosy on the odd unfavourable day with a great roof terrace for when the sun is shining. Certainly not disappointed with our return visit to El Apartamento. Received the same warm welcome from Patrick (the owner) . Always there for a chat or for local information if needed. Nothing too much bother. We travelled with our dog who had the same amazing holiday as us . He loved playing with Patrick's 3 dogs and became good friends...

About the neighbourhood
The local area has so many attractions for the independent traveller: of course GRANADA city with it's famous Alhambra and cathedral essential to visit, but also the white villages of LAS ALPUJARRAS & LECRIN VALLEY. Along the coast find many unspoilt fishing villages and secluded coves and beaches around; Salobreña, Calahonda, Almuñécar, La Herradura and Nerja. Alternatively, many visitors staying here are reluctant to leave the exotic tropical gardens - simply spending days and long evenings relaxing, reading, dining 'al fresco' or enjoying the swimming pool
Getting around
Car almost essential as the property is 3kms from the nearby market town of Motril or local beaches (unless you plan to simply rest in the gardens or poolside 24/7). Limited bus servive into Motril from the village, just 5 daily. Of course taxis plentiful - ask for further details if non-driver.
