About the neighbourhood
MOTRIL - 3kms or a five minute drive away is the commercial capital of the area. A lovely busy Spanish market town with every facility and amenity to make your holiday fun. The modern tourist office beside the large American park will guide you on an historical tour of it's sugar cane past. There are many shopping areas in town, tapas bars/restaurants (excellent sea food down in the port area), all sporting facilities including 18 hole golf course and Olympic size pool.<BR>Remember ferries leave daily for trips over to Morocco and Melilla - you can watch their movements from your private roof terrace, great with a glass of Rioja!
Getting around
Car highly recommended (unless you want to simply rest in the exotic garden or poolside), secure parking area. There is a limited bus service to nearby Motril 3kms (only 5 daily!), 10 minutes away. There modern bus station with Alsa coaches in all directions. Also many taxis serve the area.

Excellent road network around Motril. Most travellers arrive via Malaga airport 70 minute drive west from here.<BR>Easy and cheap option to rent an airport car, buses do travel along the coast but difficult to rely on public transport if staying here, unless you plan to simply chill in the gardens all day. Property 30 minute walk to the beach or supermarkets in Motril.<BR>Once booking reserved, location directions/map can be e-mailed on request
