Tivoli is a lovely 2-bedroom, top floor apartment with broad sweeping sea and mountain views, located within a short drive of Jávea Port and Old Town. An extensive lounge and dining area runs the full width of the apartment, with large balcony doors and windows offering stunning views over the roof tops of Javea Port and beyond to the sea and Cap San Antonio. A large TV is wall mounted above a lovely wooden sideboard, which houses a Bose speaker sound system as well as an extensive DVD collection. The recently fitted kitchen is complete with feature tiles, ceramic hob-top, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and all of the necessary mod-cons. The bedroom benefits from it’s own private shower room, with wc, basin, built in vanity unit and overhead mirror and lighting. The second of the double bedrooms is equally as spacious, with a feature wrought iron headboard, built in wardrobes and occasional velvet effect chair. Connected to the bedroom is the large en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower/bath, wc, washing machine and basin with vanity unit and mirror. The bathroom windows offer elevated views over fields towards the Old Town and to the peak of Montgo. This is an impressively spacious apartment that benefits from its location nearby local shops and amenities, and from its elevated position with views looking out over both sea and inland towards the mountains. About the neighbourhood
The old town of Javea has several historical buildings set along narrow winding streets that all seem to lead to the church and market square at the centre. Several times a year the town bursts into life with the colour and noise of a Fiesta, often including bull-running through the streets, and fireworks. The port area is home to a local fishing fleet and a modern marina. Over the years it has also evolved into a trendy lunch and dinner destination with its waterfront restaurants and café bars. Dominating the fishing port is the modern silhouette of the Church of Nuestra Señora de Loreto, with its awe-inspiring roof imitating a ships hull.
Getting around
A car is not a necessary requirement for this property as it is located less than 700 meters from the beach and various supermarkets. The terrain is mostly flat with large, well maintained pavements and roads to all the local amenities. Javea also operates a very good and well priced bus system and timetable for getting about locally and accessing the Port or Old Town of Javea. However, it may be convenient to have a car for trips further afield or to other towns along the Costa Blanca.
