We have lived in this area for nearly twenty years. We have invested in this apartment as our retirement home. We want you to havea relaxing time so we are available to you for help and infomation. There is an information pack left in the apartment with recommendations for sight seeing, local facilities and restaurants. Beach towels are included. We provide a welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, cola, waters, crisps, cakes, beers and a bottle of Cava so no need to rush off to the supermarket! About the neighbourhood
The apartment is located as short distance away from the Arenal beach with all its restaurants and bars. Fiteen minutes walk or a five minutes bus ride. There is a rocky beack just four minutes walk away and durinh the season there is a typical Spanish Chirinquito located on the beach serving, wines and beers and typical Spanish dishes. The port and fish market at at the other end of Javea and aftre four o´clok every afternoon the boats come and in you can see the catches being auctioned. The old town is definately worth a vist and there is a large street market on a Thursday. If you need any information please do not hesitate to contact us.
Getting around
There is a good bus service that runs from the Saladar Supermarket, past the apartment which goes to the Arenal Beach, The port area and the Old town. In the summer it runs every half hours and in the winter every hour. Taxis are readily available and inexpensive. Bicycle hire is available and easy ride along the beaches from the apartment to the Port area with cycle paths most of the way.
