Ellenglaze is a delightful property, split over three levels, with views across Gerrans Bay, towards Gull Rock and Nare Head. It has an enclosed garden for those with dogs or children. The entrance opens into the well equipped, double aspect kitchen / dining room, it is bright and spacious and has been renovated over the winter of 2016 / 2017. On the first floor is the master bedroom with fantastic views and a second twin double / bedroom. The living area has an open fireplace to make those winter evenings nice and cosy, great sea views and a superb circular, large swivel chair. The Plume of Feathers public house is nestled in the square and serves local ales and good pub grub all year round. Rosevine beach, which is dog friendly all year is just to the east of the village it has beautiful golden sands (at low tide) and is over looked by the increasingly famous Hidden Hut. Before you visit try and get on their social media page and acquire tickets to their special outdoor dining events. Accommodation Entrance Level: The entrance is at the rear of the property, and you enter into a small hallway opposite the staircases leading both up and down. Next to the hall is a large, bright, dual aspect, open plan kitchen dining room with fully fitted kitchen units and a dining table and a comfy chair. First Floor: The stairs open on to a small landing with doors leading to: a family bathroom which has a bath with handheld shower, WC and wash hand basin. A twin bedroom with storage and sea views across the bay; the beds can be connected to form a 6' double bed. Master bedroom with 5' bed and sea views over the bay, comfortable sofa and storage. Ground Floor: The stairs open into the main living room that has a floor to ceiling glass wall which optimises the dramatic sea views. There are comfortable sofas and chairs, an open fire, TV with digital Freeview and a BluRay DVD player, a sliding door leads out into the garden . At the bottom of the staircase a door leads to a small hall with doors leading to: a twin bedroom with sea views. Also a door leads to a separate shower room with WC and wash hand basin. Exterior: There is parking for 2 cars outside the property, the enclosed garden has a patio and table and chairs to the side of the property and extends from the rear to the front with beautiful views across Gerrans Bay to Gull Rock - there is a picnic table which is a morning sun trap. Facilities & Services There is an oil central heating system throughout. The kitchen has a range of fully fitted cupboards. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, under counter fridge & separate freezer. The sitting room has a digital TV which includes Netflix, and a BluRay DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a cot and high chair. There is a washing machine. There is unlimited broadband WiFi. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for 2 cars to the rear. Regrettably there is no smoking. A maximum of 4 dogs may stay in the property at a small additional price of £25.00 per dog per week. Dogs may not be left unattended in the property. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.More
