Rose's is a traditional cob built cottage which has been carefully enlarged and improved by the present owners in recent years to create comfortable and stylish holiday accommodation which has been awarded 4 STAR rating with QUALITY IN TOURISM.

Situated in Highertown which is a private road just behind the Square in Portscatho, the cottage has a sunny south facing aspect and is just a few minutes walk from the centre of the village, Tatam's beach and the harbour.
There is parking immediately outside for 2 to 3 cars, and additional parking nearby in the public car parks by the Memorial Hall and off New Road.
Access to the cottage is by a picket gate to a secure and sheltered decking area and the front door.
The entrance hall leads to a large well fitted kitchen with electric oven and hobs, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave....

Again after 2016 we had a perfect holiday at Roses Cottage. We never had rent such a well equipped and individually, familiar arranged cottage. You feel home immediately. Rose's cottage execeeded our expectations. The patio and kitchen area linked by the glazed extension were ideal for the lovely eather we had, all the extras we needed (seat cussions picnic mats etc) were in the attached outbuilding. About the neighbourhood
Portscatho is a small village on the East Coast of the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall.  The village is a very popular destination for holiday makers with many people coming back year after year.  Portscatho is towards the end of the Roseland Peninsula and is a short ten minute drive away from St Mawes - the principle village on the Roseland. 
Portscatho is famous for its history of Pilchard fishing and still has a small but active fishing fleet whose boats can be seen along the fore shore and within the harbour wall.  There is still a small slipway in this area for the launching of small dingheys, windsurfers and other small craft. 
Portscatho is actually two small villages - Portscatho, and Gerrans.

Directions:Take the M5 South exiting at Junction 31. Take the A30 Westbound and continue for approximately 67 miles. Go past the town of Bodmin and take the next exit onto the A391. Head south on the A391 towards St Austell passing through Bugle and Stenalees. Continue on the A391 into St Austell. At the traffic light T junction, turn right onto the A390 towards St Austell. Stay on the A390 passing through St Austell. Approximately 3 miles after St Austell, take the left turning onto the B3287 (by Hewas Water). Continue on the B3287 all the way to Tregony.
