Weekend break
This lovely cottage was such a great place to relax . So comfortable and had everything we could possibly need . The welcome pack is a great touch too. The views of the river and surroundings are great in this pocket of Comrie. So central to a Main Street of interesting shops with great produce to eat . Would definitely recommend and visit again .

Magical Scottish Retreat
This cottage is amazing, you have the river in front and just on your back you have the high street. Myself and my family - wife and 2 daughters aged 7 and 12 - loved the cottage, so much we made sure we spent time to enjoy it. Also, it is a great location for walks or to explore the Highlands by car. We visited just after Christmas but will return for a Spring experience.

Fabulous pad in beautiful Comrie
Our second stay at this fabulous cottage. Beautiful location on the river and an ideal base to explore Perthshire. The cottage has everything needed for a restful break, spotlessly clean and comfortable, very well equipped and a homely feel throughout. The added bonus of the outdoor ‘Sitooterie’ provides a fun area to eat, drink and relax. We would highly recommend a stay at Newcroft.

Everything we wanted from our holiday house
We had a lovely stay at Newcroft. The house was just what we wanted for a week away with a young family after travelling to Scotland for my sister in law’s wedding at nearby Comrie Croft. The house was very well equipped, very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It’s in a great location overlooking the river and right next to a fantastic deli serving delicious bread, quiches, lasagnes, cakes and other tasty treats. The garden was useful for the three year old to run around in and there’s a nice covered sitting out area too. We enjoyed walks and bike rides in the area as well as visiting the Melville cafe in the village, nearby distillery and play area in the village. There was loads more to do in the area that we didn’t get time to so we hope to return to Comrie and if we do we would definitely stay at Newcroft again. Marianne was brilliant and sent us lots of helpful info, check in was easy and she even allowed us to stay an extra day at the last minute when there was a weather warning for our drive home.

Thank you for this lovely review. It was a pleasure having you and your family to stay. Delighted that you enjoyed the house and it's location. Sounds like you made the most of your winter week in Comrie and even managed to squeeze a wedding in too at fabulous Comrie Croft! I would love to welcome you back to stay one day so you can do lots more exploring - hopefully there will be no weather warnings the next time!!! All the best. Marianne

A delightful cottage in peaceful location close to river and fabulously equipped.
We loved Newcroft. This is a fabulous cottage centrally situated in the village and close to shops etc. with the added appeal of having the river close by too. Shrubs and trees abound and the beautifully kept garden is also equipped to a high standard with a covered dining area and a further seating area for catching the sunshine. The interior is beautifully equipped and maintained with every attention to detail. Further attractions include the friendly and very picturesque golf course as well as the skate park on the outskirts of the village. A most delightful cottage in a peaceful location and one to which we would love to return.

Perfect spot to recharge your batteries 💕
The owner, Marianne, was on hand to go over our needs and the differences in place due to COVID prior to our trip. When we arrived we were not disappointed, the house had a ‘Home from home’ feel with good quality bedding and towels. The welcome hamper provided a lovely sample of local products. The house was lovely and warm and the hot water always available. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep with some shops/cafe/ deli to treat yourself after. The property is well located for a wide range of places to explore in Scotland, to suit most interests and however active you would like to be. Marianne kept us informed, throughout our stay, of places of interest we might like to try and offers to be had. A lovely stay, which my husband and I would recommend to any family combination. Thank you.😘

Thanks so much for coming to stay. I'm really delighted that you enjoyed your break and managed to relax and recharge those batteries. So many lovely local walks to choose from - rivers, hills, waterfalls - all there! The autumn colours at the moment are amazing. Spoilt for choice for treats afterwards with all the brilliant local shops/eateries. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the home comforts of Newcroft! Take care.

Wonderful
Hi. We stayed in this cottage last week in August. It was everything we expected and more. Comrie is a lovely base to explore, loads of walks and short drive to many beautiful places. 3 golf courses within 6 miles... fabulous. The cottage itself was beautiful clean and perfect for us... we would 100% stay again.

Perfect in every way
This was our second visit to Newcroft Cottage and we absolutely love it! It is in a great location - right by the river, which you can hear running by as you lie in bed, and also very handy for the amenities of the village. Just 2 minutes to nip up to the Deli in the morning for fresh croissants! We felt very "covid safe" as everything was spotless and Marianne had left us a lovely little welcome hamper with some delicious goodies for us to enjoy. The whole cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need inside and out. We were very lucky with the weather and managed a couple of rounds at Comrie golf club as well as going further afield. Marianne has made Newcroft a real "home from home" and we have already booked our next visit. Thank you so much, Marianne!

So good to have you back to stay again! Delighted you had another enjoyable stay at Newcroft and that you felt 'covid safe' with the measures I have in place. Wonderful to play some golf at Comrie Golf Club which has the most beautiful views - a super 9 hole course. I totally agree - the fresh croissants in the morning from Hansen's Kitchen are absolutely delicious - a real holiday treat! Now you can look forward to your 3rd visit! Thank you!

Absolutely brilliant holiday cottage in the delightful village of Comrie.
We stayed for a week at the end of July 2020. Newcroft Cottage was perfect from start to finish. We felt instantly at home as soon as we walked through the door. Everything was of a very high standard but the cottage also includes those personal touches that can really make a difference to a holiday. Comrie is picture perfect and there is so much to do in the area. The village has some brilliant independent shops and eateries. We will definitely be back. Marianne, the owner, was so helpful and provided great advise on things to see and do in the area. Thanks Marianne! Malcolm
