The Islands Best Diving and Snorkeling Bay, a True

Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 7
Honaunau, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii
Experience old Hawaii in this beautiful, beach house on Honaunau Bay and 2 steps near the City of Refuge. Walk across the street and swim, dive or snorkel, arguably, the nicest bay on the island. Honaunau is great place for kayaking, scuba diving and we have a boat launch. Enjoy the warm water, tropical fish, green sea turtles, dolphins and more. There is no charge for this dolphin show or swim, the dolphins seem to enjoy performing for and around the snorkelers and we can watch them from the lanai! It's pretty amazing to see the babies jumping out of the water close enough to splash you.

What a perfect romantic getaway for two. New rates include taxes. The fully furnished kitchen has granite counters, a gas stove, a dishwasher and an ice maker. Enjoy the romantic, queen size canopy bed. Of course, the master bedroom has satellite...

About the neighbourhood
Some of the finest, protected snorkeling in the all of Hawaii is located only a short dive south from Kona town. Two Step Beach is located just north of Pu’u Honua O Honaunau National Historic Park also known as the City of Refuge, and a perfect spot to explore the crystal clear waters of Kona’s coast.

With green sea turtles, colorful fish, live coral, and Hawaiian spinner dolphins, Two-Step beach is a Big Island snorkeling paradise. Although no swimming is allowed within the National Park, Two-Step Beach which sits just outside the park, offers a convenient place to enter Honaunau bay.

There are no snorkel rental places at the City of Refuge so make sure to bring your own gear or stop by our shop for
