The appliances are among the very best, with stacked ovens and six gas burners awaiting your command.
Lodging and Rest at Terra Furma
There are two oversized king suites at Terra Furma, each with a private balcony. The east suite on the main floor has a magnificent view of Ram's Horn Mountain and is embraced by forest. Its bath suite has a polished barn-wood motif and a view shower that is big enough to hold a dance party! The west suite upstairs features a 180-degree panorama of mountains, mountains, and more mountains: complete with a vaulted ceiling, a view shower, his and hers sinks and walk-in closet.
Entertainment at Terra Furma
But, the fun has just begun! Terra Furma's lower level features a family room with a flat screen TV and sound system, fireplace, and a stylish pool table. A baker's dozen of windows lets you never forget why you came in the first place. An outside deck and stairs melt into the woods to reveal the coolest kids swing ever -- great for playing after a day of fun family activities in nearby Estes Park. The first of the downstairs bedroom suites features a private patio. The second has bunk beds for four (with two trundles), a dressing room, vanities as sturdy as trestles... and just wait until they see the "bath" room!
Here at Windcliff Estates, Rocky Mountain National Park is Terra Furma's nearest neighbor, and you'll feel totally enveloped by surrounding beauty. In the course of staying here, you'll discover it's more than a vacation rental... it's a little slice of Heaven!

Terra Furma was a perfect place for two families visiting RMNP! The living spaces, the kitchen, the deck space and all of the bedrooms were set up perfectly! The kitchen was equipped with everything that you might need. The only opportunities for improvement that I may suggest are small, but would enhance future stays. The bed in the main level bedroom was somewhat hard and could be more comfortable. Umbrellas on the deck space would make using that space much more enjoyable on sunny afternoons. We ran out of trash bags, paper towels and TP which is typically provided in past rental experiences. However, no place could be completely perfect this place comes pretty close for two families visiting Estes Parke and RMNP! We would stay here 100 times over!!

Thank you for your suggestions on improving the experience at Terra Furma! We have forwarded these suggestions to the homeowner for review, but would love to comment on one of them. One of the major issues we have experienced with providing umbrellas at our rental properties is that the high winds will often cause them to go tumbling in to neighbors yards, and damaging them beyond repair. We hope you can look past the minor inconveniences and come back to stay year after year!

Terra Furma October Rental
Terra Furma met every expectation I had for a great stay. It was clean, better provisioned than the average vacation rental, and more than lived up to the pictures on the Windcliff website. Windcliff made check in/out very easy. Awesome views of the mountains. Plenty of wildlife to watch. Comfortable furnishings throughout. Terra Furma lacks nothing in the way of amenities and clearly reflects the desire of the owners to have their guests enjoy a memorable, problem free stay. A unique home in a unique setting. We would come back to this house at the first opportunity.

Exceptional home. Incredible views. Ready to go back!
We had an incredible time at Terra Furma and in Estes Park!
We have rented a lot of homes but Terra Furma is a whole new level of luxury. Every room is exquisitely decorated with a modern mountain feel. The pictures on the website just do not capture how wonderful...and how spacious...the home is!
We spent hours on the deck looking at the views. We cooked in the kitchen, which is well furnished with everything you would need. We sat at the dining area and used nice linens. There are serving dishes and nice plates and glasses. Plus, the hosts have an honor bar where you can borrow some wine as long as you return it. (We borrowed alot...but we did return it!) There is a great pool table where we played well into the night.
As for accommodations, we were four couples that came for the weekend. The home has enough space for everyone to have privacy but great common areas for us all to come together and hang out. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are really nice and clean. You do not feel like you are in a rental at all but a friends home!
Plus, Este Park is amazing! This is our third visit and we always find great hiking trails, restaurants, and we just love the downtown area. We went horseback riding at the YMCA,which is nearby the house. If you haven't been to Estes, you will love it!

A-MAZ-ING!
Our stay at Terra Furma was absolutely amazing. From the breath-taking views of the range from the back deck, to hikes into Rocky Mountain National park steps from the the front door, to the perfectly decorated rooms, & to the kitchen with every tool you could need to make a meal, this property can't be beat. It made our vacation from the concrete jungle into the mountains even more spectacular. No detail was left to chance with the design of this house, which balances perfectly the comfort of a home while highlighting the natural beauty of its surroundings. We will definitely be returning to this home away from home. Thank you to the owners and the management company for making our stay so incredible!

The Most Magical Mountain Experience Ever!!!
From the moment the front doors open and you take one look at the wall of windows across from you displaying the incredible mountain views, all of your normal life stresses melt away.
Family rooms on both the first and lower floors are perfect to separate the kids games from the adult games.
We spent hours out on the deck looking out at the majestic Rocky mountain views and admiring the turning Aspen's. All the bedrooms are ensuites which is perfect for multiple families.
We cooked every night in the open kitchen and had 10 people at the dining room table with room to spare.
There are hiking trails right outside the front door, and close to all other hiking trails that Estes has to offer. Not too mention across from, probably the nicest, YMCA in the world. It is a must see. We went on a 3 hour horse back ride through Aspen groves and unreal picturesque settings. Highly recommended. (if you can book out the ride for your whole group so you're not stuck with beginner riders)
I cannot say enough about our experience at Terra Furma. We will be back every year. What a fantastic time. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!!

Beautiful Property
Gorgeous, private home with outstanding views of the mountains. Large home beautifully furnished. Less than ten minutes from downtown Estes Park. The drive to the house is an adventure in itself! Quite a ways up the mountainside but beautifully located.
My husband and I took our adult children there for a long weekend to celebrate a late Christmas together. We were all having so much fun together that we didn't leave for dinner as we had planned for the first night. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you could need. Two fireplaces, one gas and one wood. Floors are heated which is awesome. Master bedroom and bath are gorgeous and you can't beat the view. Four bedrooms so each couple had their own private space.
Basement family room was great with a pool table and a well stock game closet with many games to choose from. We had great wifi and cell reception here.
The day we arrived within 15 minutes there were six head of deer right outside the door that provided great closeup photo ops. They didn't seem to scared of people. They even came back with two large bucks that afternoon and the following two days.
There was snow when we arrived that made going up the mountain a little nerve racking, but we made it without any trouble. Parked in the heated garage. The second night we got about 8 inches of fresh snow which was beautiful. Very picturesque. Quiet location. No other neighboring houses seemed to be occupied while we were there. Rental company was very easy to work with. We will definitely rent from them again.
