Bighorn was originally built in the early 1900's. We've recently renovated (including refinishing the original wood floors); it is lovely with so much charm! All the windows were replaced in this cottage last fall.

All new in Fall 2016! 48' flat screen HD SmartTV; top-down/bottom-up cordless blinds throughout cottage with blackout feature in bedroom and sleeping porch.

Bighorn has one bedroom with a walk-in closet and a queen size bed. There is a lovely sleeping porch with windows on three sides with mountain views and a king size bed. The living area includes a comfortable queen sleeper sofa and ceiling fan. Bighorn sleeps up to 6 (including children/infants).

This cottage also includes a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishware and an open kitchen counter with bar stools....

Checkin was quick and easy. We had everything there that we needed, including beautiful weather. The grounds were kept so-so but it was nice other than the creaky floors.

We stayed in the "Big Horn" cabin in July and LOVED it. My young daughters and wife instantly fell in love with it. Terry and Carolyn were great hosts and very cordial. About the neighbourhood
We're conveniently located in a residential area 2 blocks from downtown Estes Park within easy walking of shopping, dining and the river walk (the river runs parallel to the main street downtown). We're a short 3.5 mile drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. There are fabulous views from all angles of the property. (Views of both Twin Owls and Longs Peak!) We have plenty of parking and the town of Estes Park provides free shuttle buses during the summer months. The shuttle runs throughout Estes Park and also up into the Rocky Mountain National Park.
