Escape to a Puerto Rico vacation rental and take the trip of a lifetime. iTrip Vacations® manages rentals in the east region of the island, which includes Fajardo, Luquillo and Las Croabas.
Fajardo encompasses the city of Fajardo and Puerto Del Rey Marina. As one of the most beautiful spots on the island's shores, Fajardo borders the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Seas and is located north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. This location means Fajardo operates as a major boating center, with a range of rentals and charters available, daily and sport-diving excursions, as well as scheduled ferries and air service that carry passengers to Culebra and Vieques.
Popular water activities our guests will enjoy include fishing, paddleboarding, scuba diving, surfing and kayaking. The area also has a diverse environment ideal for hiking, ziplining, climbing, and eco-friendly and extreme tours. Seven Seas Beach is about a five-block walk from our villas, and sailboats even dot the wide bay of Seven Seas Beach.
Luquillo, known as the sun’s capital, has more than 12 miles of stunning coastline and world-renowned beaches. Its unique landscape offers access to Balneario La Monserrate, one of the best beaches in Puerto Rico, and Luquillo Mountain Range, which has hiking trails and waterfalls. To the north, Las Croabas is a small fishing community perfect for boating, diving and snorkeling.
For more adventure, Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve has bioluminescent Laguna Grande and a colonial-era lighthouse. Offshore waters are home to dolphins, turtles and manatees. To the west, visitors will find trails that meander through El Yunque National Forest, the only subtropical rainforest in the U.S. Hikers come here to see beautiful scenery, clear mountain rivers, waterfalls, and native plants and wildlife.
Your Puerto Rico vacation rental also offers proximity to San Juan, the island's largest city. San Juan sits on the Atlantic Ocean and has its own beaches and a rich arts and culture scene that showcases the area's history. Old San Juan, a popular historic area, features cobblestone streets, colorful Spanish colonial buildings and 16th-century landmarks. Art and history lovers can't miss more than 40 galleries and museums. In addition, San Juan is home to Plaza Las Americas, the largest shopping center in the Caribbean. Both San Juan and San Juan International Airport are about an hour’s drive from our rentals, making it an easy day-trip option.
When it’s time to eat, guests can sample everything from chain restaurants and food trucks to upscale waterfront dining and lively bars. Puerto Rico has a growing reputation for flavorful cuisine created by local chefs who share their passion through serving others. Seafood is a must, and other specialties include roasted pork and handmade sausages. Los Kioskos has outposts open all week and comes alive on the weekends when visitors can experience exciting nightlife.
While vacationing in Puerto Rico, attend one of the area's lively events. The island celebrates its beauty, history and modern culture through annual festivals including Fiestas San Sebastian, Festival Casals, Puerto Rico Open, Nochebuena, La Campechada and Porta Del Sol. These signature events bring the best of culture, music and food to all visitors.
