Holiday Rental House
An early 19th century farmhouse, renovated to a high specification in 2013. We are located in a small hamlet in the foothills of the pyrenees surrounded by mountains, farmhouses and farm life. We are situated on the Tour de France route, (port de balaise, col de peyresourde, valley de luchon). If paragliding is your sport we are close to 7 sites. Kayaking, pony trekking, St Bertrand de Comminges ( on St Jean de Compostella pilgrimage route) and the Grottes de Gargas (world heritage cave system) are all 1 mile away. There is a local monday market 7 minutes drive in the quaint provincial town of Montrejeau. You will have full access to an outdoor pool and large patio and bbq area. There are only 20 or so residents in our village; if you spot more than 10 in a day you have done well. Does it sound like heaven?.... For us it certainly is! We have been here for 30 years. We will be on site to look after the pool and keep the lawn and flower beds tidy and of course give any information you might need. This is an ideal place to recharge your batteries. If you are looking for the fast life this is not for you. Peace and tranquillity are what you will find in this working pyrenean farming hamlet. If you would like a trip into picturesque northern spain, the frontier is only 30 minutes away. No pets. More
