White Stripe Mountain Lodge Porte du Paradis is a stylish owner run eight-bedroom chalet with outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna in the pretty village of Peisey at the centre of the Les Arcs / La Plagne (Paradiski) sports area. All bedrooms are ensuite and the chalet is designed over three floors: On the ground floor there is a sauna and gym and boot room with electric boot warmers. On the middle level there is a spacious open plan lounge and dining area. In the winter months the open fire creates a cosy space to unwind after a hard day's skiing. There is one triple, one quad, one twin and a room with a double bed and a separate room coming off it with two single beds. All apart from the twin room have a balcony. All your ski gear is safe and warm in our indoor boot room where your boots are warmed ready for the morning. Parking is available right outside the chalet. With our winter catered service you will receive a delicious home-cooked three-course dinner with unlimited decent bottled wine, a cooked breakfast (continental and hot option) and afternoon tea and fresh home-made cake or cookies. For skiing we offer discounted lift passes and a service to have you equipment fitted at the chalet so you are ready for first lifts. Airport transfers and childcare can also be arranged.

A wonderful week at White Stripe Mountain Lodge in the village of Peisey-Vallandry
The chalet is well located in the quiet village of Peisey-Vallandry close to the lobster pot ski lift for easy access to the extensive Paradiski area, which caters for all ability levels. The shuttle to and from the ski lift was really appreciated, especially at the end of each ski day. The chalet was very well run by Russ and Lucy who were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The chalet hosts were wonderful and catered for everyone's needs throughout the week. The chalet was very comfortable and relaxing with large communal lounge and dining areas. The high standard meals were well prepared and very tasty and the portions were generous. Good quality wine was available throughout the evenings. The hot tub was really good too. The spacious bedroom was tastefully decorated and the ensuite, private bathroom was a real bonus. The ski and boot room was large, with plenty of storage and the boot warmers functioned well. We had a really enjoyable week at White Stripe Mountain Lodge. The weather, the ski area and the ski conditions were great. We're hoping to return next season.

Lovely chalet.
Lovely chalet, clean and very welcoming. Well run and the food was excellent. Close to the slopes. Had a great holiday and would definitely book again.

Les Arcs ski chalet fun in a beautiful, quiet village setting.
White Stripe Lodge lived up to its reviews again with another great week in the Alps this season. Wonderful food and accommodation in Peisey-Vallandry, a lift connected quiet village so convenient for both sides of the Paradiski ski area. The chalet has great accommodation with a classic alpine style. The comfortable lounge area has a welcoming open fire and the dining area, with its single large dining table, brings everyone together each mealtime creating a brilliant atmosphere. The food was consistently delicious and plentiful throughout the week. The menu was varied and imaginative and if there were dietary issues these were catered for easily. The staff were available as advertised and made sure we had everything we needed to make best use of the day. Look forward to visiting again next season!

Great ⛷️
Rooms were great. Food was fantastic. Hosts were very accommodating. Shuttles up to the lifts, then collecting at the end of the day was an added bonus. Couldn’t complain with anything with the chalet. The area is a little quiet, but that didn’t affect the great time we all had. Would definitely recommend.

Great place and wonderful hosts
Wonderful chalet and great hospitality from the white stripes mountain lodge team… we were lucky enough to have fresh snow on arrival & sunshine days. We got back each day to a warm welcome and cake. The food was Amazing and portions were more than ample, clean and spacious. We will Definitely be returning.

Seven families over Christmas week.
What a cracking find. We were seven families and rented the whole lodge. Half board + (the plus was home made cake for 4pm every day). Great sauna and hot tub, WiFi and Netflix for the kids. Russ and Lucy took us to the village lift each way every day in their minibus. The food was amazing and they were really generous with advice, portions, their time etc. They even sorted our ski passes. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic Lodge and location. We were well looked after by the team and christmas dinner was amazing. Lucy and Russ were always available to take us and collect us from the lift, which provides quick easy access to Les Arcs

Amazing
We had a great time - mixture of experienced and novice skiers - Russ Lucy and their team were amazing- excellent food and location. Our group filled all rooms which were excellent- we hope to return

Superb traditional chalet experience
Been coming to this village for several years, but first time in this chalet. A few minutes walk to the lobster pots (lift directly under the Vanoise Express), not that you need to walk as Russ takes you there and pick you up when you call them! The chalet layout is excellent, bedrooms good size and immaculate. You won’t find any edible flowers on the meals, but they are well cooked, tasty, and filling. I took a family and friends group of 15 including a 9 month old, nothing was too much trouble, including baby equipment, catering for dietary needs, and arranging lift passes. Highly recommend this chalet, and looking forward to going again.

À ski holiday tale
We had the times of our lives that week beginning of April 2022 when our group consisting of four families stayed at the White Stripe Mountain Lodge at Peisey. First of all we had the weather gods on our side: for weeks it had not been snowing and the temperatures had been on the rise - well hey, that’s the Easter period - but on the evening of our arrival it started snowing, and it continued for the whole night. Unexpected top ski conditions, and warm afternoons meant that we and even more so the kids could enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi and terrace to the fullest. The catering was exquisite, every evening’s 3 course dinner was a copious feast and we loved the cake and coffee upon our return from the slopes. The rooms are big comfy, especially those on the 2nd floor, the living quarters very cosy (an open fire and soft sofas), the fitting room downstairs and sauna room, we enjoyed everything .The chalet is very conveniently located not far from the lobster pot ski lift, in a small quiet village, and we loved the drop off possibility for our skis and poles after a long ski day in Russ’s van. It is not surprising that we booked for our ski holiday 2023 within one week after our return from the 2022 ski holiday at the WS Mountain Lodge. Lucy and Russ are wonderful hosts who give you a lot of assistance throughout and the chalet is a gem!

About the neighbourhood
Peisey Naincroix is one of the five villages which make up the authentic Peisey-Vallandry resort. Located at 1600m,Peisey-Vallandry is one of the four gateways to the Vanoise National Park, so you can expect breathtaking views as well as superb skiing. Peisey-Vallandry and Les Arcs are linked with La Plagne by the high tech Vanoise Express. This ultra-modern cable car takes just 4 minutes from one side to the other, so you'll be up and away in no time. Non-skiers can head to the end of the valley on the free shuttle bus that leaves from right outside the chalet where there is dog sledding or skijoring (horse sledging). There is also a Spa and pool in Plan Peisey and bars and cafes where they can meet with their skiing friends.
Getting around
There is a free shuttle bus that runs from the Lonzagne lift to the end of the valley where there is cross country skiing and sledging for the kids. Husky and horse sledging rides can also taken here as well as snow shoeing

How to get there
The closest airports are Geneva, Grenoble, Lyon and Chambery and we can organise discounted transfers for you. There are direct trains there from London to Bourg-Saint-Maurice which is 20 minutes from the chalet and we can collect you from there. This is a good option if you want to squeeze and extra day's skiing in and take the overnight train.
