About the neighbourhood
Port Erin is situated in the South of the Island and is known for its safe harbour and beautiful beaches. Seaside kiosks and cafes complete the holiday experience. The more adventurous can explore the coastal paths or venture to the nearby Calf of Man where seals and the odd basking shark can be seen. The narrow guage Steam Railway has its terminus in the Town and offers a unique way to link up to the Island's extensive vintage transport system. With bike hire, kayaking and diving on the doorstep the Village offers plenty to keep the most active guests occupied. Close to the airport and a 25 minute drive from the Ferry Port Erin offers the ideal base to explore the Island's treasures and/or the perfect spot to relax.
