Our ROTATING HOUSE is situated on the banks of the pristine Nowendoc Rover, a scenic 4 hour drive north of Sydney. At 540 sq mtr the Rotating house can accomodate up to 16 people offering privacy & contemporary living within the most rich & picturesque Australian country landscape.

When you stay with us you are living in a luxurious house at 540 sq mtr with 5 bedroom and 8 beds in total (3 King and 5 Double Sofa).

Pet dogs are welcomed to join you on your stay however they are not permitted inside the rotating house. BYO dog bedding/ food / bowl etc. dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and must remain on a lead when walking through the property. But are allowed off the lead in the river.
Smoking not allowed inside the house. And we appreaite every effort made to ensure cigarette butts are not littered on our property.

Mesmerising Place, The accomodation, the tranquil environment and the caretaker
This is the one of the best holiday/getaway we had in last 10 years. As usual 4 of our family friends set out on a pre Christmas journey to explore country NSW and this time we chose a farm stay. Rotating house is a Spellbound place to stay. Today the 5th day and when I realised that we have to leave this place to go back home, we (16 of us) are thinking should we really go back to our home?
Unbelievable devine experience at this place, we went for Kayaking with family (thanks to care takers). Thanks leanne for making our stay so memorable... we will spread the words of how great escape is this place...

Perfect secluded getaway
The perfect place for the family to get out of the city's hustle and bustle that we deal with on a daily basis! Waking up to the sounds of nature and with a different view every morning from the same bed! Pure luxury, we'll be booking again thats for sure!!

Fantastic
Our family visited the Rotating House in April this year. The location is beautiful, and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The cattle are so healthy and the kids loved watching the bulls in the paddock. We were lucky enough to have great weather and spent time on the river Kyaking down the rapids and paddle boarding. We made a trip to Forster for lunch and went to Ellenborough Falls. But most of our time was spend at the house sitting around the fire (inside and out), playing Cards and making wonderful memories. The Rotating House is really cool, we had fun waking up each morning with a different view.

Perfect girls weekend away
A perfect location, house and all 'round weekend away. The house is massive which made it very comfortable for 10 of us girls. Highly recommend this place for anything from a trip with girlfriends, romantic getaway or family holiday.

Perfect holiday home for a group
Ideal location and well set up house for 2 families with space for everyone and a fantastically equipped kitchen. Loved the peacefulness of the property and proximity to the river. Loved it and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday.

About the neighbourhood
The Manning Valley is a premium location in the mid north coast of NSW Australia. A unique Australian landscape surrounds our property and the area has one of the largest waterfalls in the southern hemisphere (Edinborough falls).
Getting around
We have lots of great walking areas on the property and many paths to explore. We keep our paddocks well maintained all year round so they are very assessible. Some guests have brough along mountain bikes and there is a very cool track to rode if that may interest you.

Our property is named “Longview Santa Gertrudis Stud””
(Entry to property is via 3105 Nowendoc Road, Caffery’s Flat)
Directions:
1) Take the Pacific Highway out of Sydney north to Taree.
2) When you get to Taree and cross the Martin Bridge over the Manning River.
3) Follow the signs to Wingham approx 10km out of Taree
4) Once you arrive at Wingham follow the signs to Gloucester
5) 8km out of Wingham on the Gloucester Road turn right at the Nowendoc Road.
a. It is also sign posted: Nowendoc, Mount George, Tamworth
b. There are no other turns – you are 31.05 km from our driveway from this turn off
6) Follow Nowendoc road until you reach 3105 (left hand side of road – at top of hill)
7) Turn left at 3105 under the arch “Longview Santa Gertrudis Stud
8) Continue 1.3km straight ahead until you reach The Rotating House
