Back for our second visit and a roaring success again. Came with same group of people and everyone had a fabulous time. About the neighbourhood
The Portes du Soleil is spread over such a vast area that usually there is a quiet area to ski even at busy times. Super Châtel is a great area for adults and children to learn and is easily accessible from the centre of Châtel.

There are also many and varied cultural activities around Châtel and Lake Geneva throughout the summer, including the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival. You can also visit the centuries old farming villages with beautifully preserved chapels, such as Abondance and Chapelle d'Abondance only a 20 minute drive from the chalet.

Airport: Geneva: 85.0 km
Railway: Aigle Switzerland: 20.0 km
Ferry: Calais: 900.0 km
To get from Geneva Airport to the Chalet is an eighty minute drive either along the north or south side of the lake. More time should be allowed when travelling at peak times and/or in difficult road/weather conditions particularly if you are not familiar with driving in the mountains in winter. You should always check the road/weather conditions before departure and on arrival to ensure the suitability and safety of your travel arrangements. In winter, driving a suitable vehicle with snow tyres and/or snow chains is absolutely essential.

Or there is a train from Geneva Airport to Aigle, Switzerland and the chalet is a 30 minute taxi ride from there.

Most airlines go to Geneva including BA, Swissair, and Easyjet.
