An infinity pool with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, beaches and Ballena Marine Park. The house is of tropical design, structural bamboo vaulted ceilings and local exotic hardwoods. Unique and charming – the property sits at an elevation of 1100 ft (300 meters) – keeping the house cool and fresh during the day, with mountain downdrafts to cool at night. A full kitchen with a gas BBQ, bathroom, living area, laundry and covered patio – all on the main floor. Ideal for honeymooners, personal life celebrations, birders, those who just want to get away from the busy-ness of daily life. This property is serene, but full of plant, bird and tropical life! If the beauty of the property isn't enough to entertain you... we have Fibre Optic Internet (25Mbps) with wifi. A 32' Samsung LED TV with HDMI cable. Bring your device to stream your favourite shows. Access to this property is along an incredible jungle road. (It does have a couple of steep sections to it and requires a 4WD SUV. Occasional sightings of sloths, Capuchan monkeys, Howler monkeys, jagarundi's, toucans, aricari's and parrots can be taken in along the drive to the house - bound to enhance your Costa Rican adventure! Our property manager, Trina – will meet you in town and escort you to the property. There is much to do in and around Uvita; Visit Ballena Marine Park and take a walk out to the Whale's Tail during low tide. Plan a horseback ride on the beach and to local waterfalls with La Merced. Charter a fishing boat for some of the most amazing off shore fishing you will ever experience! Rent an ATV and tour waterfalls and though the jungle. Take a boat trip to the Corcovado National Park in the Osa. Zipline, canopy walks and birdwatching tours. Oh and don't forget the surfing! Take in the skills of the locals at Playa Hermosa or Playa Dominical at sunset, then head out for a delicious dinner at one of many of the fabulous restaurants in our area. About the neighbourhood

Uvita is located in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. There are two neighbouring towns, Dominical and Ojochal, both about 15 minutes away. Uvita is the commercial hub of the area, offering banks, grocery stores, farmers markets, cafes, tourist information centres, tour centres and shops. Ballena Marine Park is located in Uvita, along with Uvita Waterfall, La Merced and much more.

Getting around

You will need a 4WD SUV in Uvita. There are paved roads, however some restaurants are located in the hills around Uvita and Ojochal, that require an SUV. Access to this property is along a beautiful jungle road. (It does have a couple of steep sections to it and requires an SUV or 4WD.) Sightings of sloths, Capuchan monkeys, Howler monkeys, jagarundi's, toucans, aricari's and parrots can be taken in along the drive to the house - bound to enhance your Costa Rican adventure!
