This property is situated in the market town of Helmsley which lies on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park,making it an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy a mix of town and country whilst on holiday. Helmsley is an attractive town,and not only offers a choice of shops,but also is home to a range of attractions including the National Centre for Birds of Prey,Helmsley Castle,and the town’s pretty walled gardens. The town also enjoys a thriving arts scene and boasts a number of galleries and studios,as well as an arts centre with a cinema,theatre,and exhibition space. Of course,one of the main draws of the area are the moors themselves,and there are plenty of wonderful walks to be enjoyed in the area surrounding the town. Stepping inside this charming cottage,guests will immediately be able to relax and make themselves at home in the welcoming lounge. This room,like the rest of the house,has a lovely cosy feel to it,and has two comfortable sofas,a warming wood burner,and a TV for guests to enjoy. The kitchen/diner has the same homely feeling as the lounge,and is equipped with an oven,hob,microwave,fridge with ice compartment,and a dishwasher. The dining area,meanwhile,is tucked into its own alcove area at the end of the room. Upstairs,there are two bedrooms,both of which have an understated restful feel to them. The first of these is a double bedroom with a delightful cottagey-feel,whilst the second is a pleasant twin room. The bathroom,also on the first floor,offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Outside,there is small patio garden to the rear of the property for which the owners have provided garden furniture and a BBQ to help guests to really enjoy and make the most of this space.
