Holiday Rental House
Up to December 2020 the minimum stay is 7 nights. A 4-night buffer will be inserted between bookings - the cottage will only be entered for cleaning during this period of time. Situated at about 1200 feet above sea level, this cosy moorland cottage is on the northern edge of the Peak District National Park. There are distant views - great for weather watching! Drifting mists, clouds and starry nights. Visitors use words like well-equipped, peaceful, and comfortable when describing their stay. There is a log burner for those chilly autumn and winter nights, although full central heating is included in the weekly rental cost. On arrival you will find cosy towelling dressing gowns, tea, coffee, eggs and a pint of farm milk. A comfortable and warm cottage on the edge of a quiet village. Nice sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Some nice views to the south. Peter, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. Used it whilst visiting family over Christmas. Will use it again next...More

Peter is a very flexible owner. The house is spacious downstairs. The living room is cosy and comes with a wood burner. The kitchen is complete, but we are not used to carpets and a cooker without exhaust. Changing that seems to me a good...More
