We had a fabulous stay at Brooks View. It is a delightful cosy cottage that had everything we needed. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and so close to the lovely city of Bath. We were only sorry we couldn’t stay for longer .

About the neighbourhood
Brooks' View is a cosy and romantic cottage in the Midford Valley just 10 minutes' from Bath city centre. It combines the best of both worlds: enjoy the stunning scenic views of the valley and local walks, or take a short trip to Bath, England's only UNESCO World Heritage city. In the Valley you have plenty of walk and cycle routes on your doorstep, including the Two Tunnels Greenway shared use path. There are two excellent local pubs serving food all day, the Hope and Anchor just a short walk, and the Wheelwright Arms in the nearby village of Monkton Combe. From your terrace you can enjoy views out across the English countryside for a couple of miles. Bath itself has many attractions and is a hotspot for food and drink.
Getting around
Our romantic cottage Brooks' View is a short journey from Bath Spa Railway station, approximately 10 minutes' by car. The nearest airport is Bristol Airport, around 40 minutes' drive. Two bus services run near the cottage, the Combe Down services or the 265 (Frome) or 3 service to Monkton Combe, with a short walk from the stop to the cottage. You can also cycle to the cottage on the Two Tunnels Greenway path. There's a whole range of walks on your doorstep if you want to explore the Midford Valley and Cotswolds.
