Appartement très bien placé en centre ville, tout est à portée de main, on peut oublier la voiture pour aller chercher son pain, faire ses courses, boire un verre. La vue dégagée est très agréable sur les pentes et les cimes environnantes. L'appartement est très bien aménagé et le couchage est parfait. On peut faire sa propre cuisine, tout y est, y compris le petit électroménager. Beaucoup d'activités pour l'été, à commencer par les ballades en sous-bois et les randonnées. Le centre aquatique est à 5 minutes. Tout est fait pour passer un séjour reposant et agréable.

Great apartment in a great location.
Pauline greeted us on arrival and explained everything about the apartment, the area and handed over a welcome pack with plenty of information.
The apartment is homely, clean and well equipt with a balcony looking out on to the ski slopes and mountain views!
Parking is quite busy in the town so it was very usefully to have the allocated space at the rear of the building.
Pauline has great knowledge of the area and gave us really useful advice on where to go and the best times to visit.
We stayed for 5 nights and had loads to do around the area, everything was within two hours drive ; Chamonix, Mer de glacé, caves, waterfalls, gourges, Annecy, Lake Geneva, Italy, Yvoire and hiking routes
There is two local super markets, casino and carrefour within walking distance. Also a spar supermarket a short drive and a super u at the bottom of the mountain about 15 minute drive.
Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
Would highly recommend, summer and winter.

Central Location - Perfect for a long weekend of skiing
An hour's drive from Geneva Airport and on-site parking at this very centrally located apartment made this the perfect spot for maximising skiing on a long weekend in the Alps. The small but well appointed apartment is right across from the main square, within 2-3 mins walk of ski rental shops and the shuttle bus to the main ski lifts up to the slopes. Restaurants and shops all within a 5 minute walk so once we arrived, we did not need to use the car again. Just perfect location.
The apartment is small....the double bed is a conversion from a settee, although it is better sprung than a sofa bed an gave a good night's sleep. The bunk beds were in a very small 2nd bedroom - but you don't come to a ski resort to spend all day in the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was even a Nespresso machine (so don't forget to bring your pods). For the skiers there is a locker room on the ground floor with an individual locker for the apartment for our skis and boots.
Pauline was very helpful on both arrival and departure.
All in all a very good apartment - not the cheapest in the resort but worth the extra for the convenience of the location.

Nice cosy apartment idealy situated in Les Carroz village centre
The apartment was nice and cosy and idealy situated in the centre of Les Carroz .
It was very close to all the amenities like the ski bus , shops and restaurants.
Pauline and Claude were very helpful with everything.

Excellent apartment, great location, clean, bright and modern
This is a great place to stay. The location in the resort couldn't be better and the apartment is clean bright and modern and has everything that we needed. Great to stroll to a restaurant or bar and parking is very close. Furnished to a good standard whilst in the village centre it is very peaceful.

Confortable, bien équipé, bien situé
L'appartement Bellevue est un bon compromis aux résidences hôtelières des Carroz d'Arrache. En effet il est situé sur la place du village, à proximité directe des commerces (loueurs de skis dans le même immeuble, supermarché à 100m) et à 50m de l'arrêt de la navette qui mène aux télécabines. Il est confortable et équipé de façon qualitative. Il dispose de tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner, de nombreux rangements et d'une télé+freebox. Bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjours agréable. Bien sûr ce n'est pas immense mais on y tient à 4. Le prix n'est pas donné, mais reste correct vu les tarifs pratiqués en saison dans les stations de sport d'hiver. La station des Carroz et petite et mignonne, facile d'accès, la propriétaire Pauline sympa et efficace. Bref, je recommande cet appartement.

A Perfect New Year location
We've just spent New Year at BelleVue. What a fabulous apartment! it's newly refurbished to a high spec by Pauline and Claude who have clearly spent time really thinking out the layout. Not only is it modern, clean and warm with comfy beds and plenty of hot water, it's also in one of the best locations in Les Carroz! Smack bang in the centre of the village. It's close to shops, restaurants, bars and the ski bus, which stops just on the other side of the street. Hop on the free bus and two minutes later you're at the bubble, ready to take on all that the Grand Massif has to offer. The apartment has free wi-fi, and a smart TV with dozens of channels, which meant the whole family was connected and entertained. OK, so the flat isn't big, but as a family of four, we were cozy without getting cabin fever. Other essentials: There's a ski locker in the basement, ski hire next door and parking behind the building.
Les Carroz is wonderful at New Year, with fireworks, entertainment and a bar in the centre of the village. A great start to 2016. Thank you Pauline - we will be back.

About the neighbourhood
Les Carroz d'Araches is a traditional alpine village at an altitude of 1200m consisting mostly of chalets in a family atmosphere. The gondola leaves from the village centre and takes you directly to the Grand Massif in both winter and summer. Owing to the altitude and the quality of the snow, it is possible to ski down to the village during most of the winter season.
The village forms part of the ski and mountain resort area known as the Grand Massif (Connected villages: Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Sixt and Flaine) featuring 265 km of ski runs for all levels offering superb conditions for a winter sports holiday. It is among the top 5 ski resorts in all of France. There are many beautiful views of Mont Blanc.
Getting around
Les Carroz is a ski-in ski-out village and BelleVue is located right in the centre of it. A bakery, bars, supermarket and restaurants are within 3-5 minutes walking distance.
A free shuttle takes you up the gondola in 5 minutes. Aquacime pool&spa 300 m. By car: Chamonix 1 hour, Annecy 1 hour, Geneva 1 hour.
