This location is great and our hosts were amazing! Eileen managed to look after 20 of us on a cricket tour and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are great, the outside area is fantastic and everything cooked for us tasted awesome. Highly recommended!
In the summer, there is an abundance of fairs, fetes and festivals too numerous to list; we can only promise that you will never be at a loss of finding something to do or somewhere to go. Market days in France are special and every day there is a market somewhere; the ones at St Foy Le Grande, Eymet and the Sunday morning market in Issigeac are a definite must. The area has an abundance of wine tasting , restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and budget. One of the highlights of any trip to the Dordogne must be a “lazy day on the river”. Pack your bread and cheese, chill the wine and spend an idyllic few hours drifting down the majestic Dordogne, stopping off for a cooling swim or marvel at the ancient chateaux that line its banks.
