House Rental
The house has just been totally rennovated. The furniture is simple but comfortable and functional. The space is very conveniently divided in three floors: * Ground floor with kitchen, bathroom, living and dinning rooms, front and back terraces connecting with the gardens; * Basement (with window) with bedroom, bathroom and living room; * 1st floor with 3 bedrooms and large bathroom; * Roof top terrace with spectacular panoramic 360º view * Big jacuzzi in the back garden.

About the neighbourhood
There's something in this place for everyone. You can read or sunbath quietly without even leaving home but still feeling the see breeze, or hike through the pine forest, along the coastal cliffs' edges or up the mountain slopes in this beautiful protected area (National Park). You can hire a bike or a horse. You can surf in the venue of international competitions such as nearby Praia Grande. You can have a glass of the renowned local drinks at a price that will seem surprisingly inexpensive. You can explore Sintra's many outstanding monuments (World Heritage) and reach up to Lisbon, a beautiful and ancient imperial capital, truly worth a visit. Not many places on Earth offer you such a variety of experiences within such a confined area.
Getting around
The neighbourhood is very quiet, with easy free parking just outside the door and within walking distance from restaurants & bars, pharmacy, ATM dispensers, shops and public transportation, as well as the beach itself. Easy cattering, which adds to a sense of relaxation during your vacation. Several foreign people having previously stayed with us eventually decided to live here permanently. It tells you something.

How to get there
From Lisbon take direction SINTRA (IC19). Bypass Sintra and take direction COLARES. Drive down the mountain for 7 km. Drive through Colares and at the junction turn right, direction PRAIA DAS MAÇÃS. Right at the beginning of the village take a turn to the right and follow uphill for some 300 metres. When spotting a bar called INICIUS, turn right again and park outside the back entrance of the house.
