Welcome to pleasant and peaceful days at Le Pèlerin, an apartment, a B&B ( Chambre d'hôtes) and also a retreat center in the heart of the protected village Montségur which lies at an altitude of 930 meter in the French Pyrenees. Montsègur village originates from the 15th century and parts of our house date back to that time.

You might rent our appartment which sleeps 8 persons and/or any of our 4 rooms in our B&B. All in all we cater for up to 20 persons, if the group is larger than that, we rent additional rooms in the village. We have a beautiful conference hall with space for up to 20 - 24 persons.

The apartment is renovated in 2016 and consist of 4 double or twin bedrooms with good quality beds, one spacious bathroom and a seperate toilet. In the middle of the apartment you find our cosy kitchen where all the guests...

Le Pelerin was such a find for me! I booked in relatively last minute without knowing much about it and really feel like I lucked out. The hosts Ragnhild and Janos were incredible. So attentive, helpful, and kind. They have put their heart and soul into the place and it shows. It's beautifully designed and decorated, not to mention spotless,...

Travelling in the Ariège has its definite charm. The way with charming places is that sometimes you can become enchanted by the places, and the people you come across. Montségur today has 80 inhabitants, there are some few places to stay, of them I believe three are listed in Tripadvisor. Upon arriving we discovered that two of those were closed....

The protected village Montségur lies in the Midi-Pyrenees in France.
Montsegur village is located on the south slope of the famous castle with the same name. The scenery is stunningly beautiful and there are many marked trails that walkers can follow; in the footsteps of the Chatars, against some of the high peaks of around 2300 m in this area, or shorter trips in the beautiful forests. In winter you can visit the local Ski Resort: Les Mont d'Olmes.

Montsegur is a charming and rustic village with many attractions nearby.
